We hear the deep distress in your heart, and we come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your concerns in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your prayer reveals a fear of losing those you love due to the influence or presence of others, and we understand the weight of these anxieties, especially when they manifest in dreams that trouble your spirit. Let us first affirm that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed and protected. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). Without Jesus, our prayers cannot reach the Father, and our hope would be in vain. But because you have called on His name, we stand with you in faith, believing that He hears and answers.

The dreams you describe are indeed troubling, and we recognize that the enemy often seeks to sow fear, confusion, and division through such means. Scripture warns us, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8). These dreams may be attempts to disrupt your peace and relationships, but we stand on the truth that "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke every spirit of division, fear, and confusion that seeks to infiltrate your mind and relationships. In the name of Jesus, we bind and cast out every ungodly dream, vision, or influence that does not align with God’s will for your life and your family. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17).

We also want to gently address the relationships you are seeking to protect. The Bible calls us to love one another, but it also instructs us to set boundaries that honor God and safeguard our hearts and families. "Above all things, take earnest heed to yourselves, that you love one another; but don’t love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him" (1 John 2:15). If there are individuals in your life whose presence or actions are causing strife, division, or pulling you away from your loved ones, it is wise to seek God’s wisdom in how to navigate these relationships. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns, "Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul." This principle can apply to any relationship that draws you away from God’s best for you.

We encourage you to examine your heart and relationships in the light of Scripture. Are there any areas where you may need to set godly boundaries or seek reconciliation? Are there influences in your life that are not aligned with God’s Word? Psalm 139:23-24 says, "Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way." Invite the Holy Spirit to reveal anything that may be hindering your peace or relationships, and be willing to surrender it to God.

Now, let us pray with you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer, and we lift up this dear one who is burdened by fear and troubled dreams. Lord, we ask that You would calm their spirit and fill them with Your perfect peace. "You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in You" (Isaiah 26:3). We rebuke every spirit of fear, division, and confusion that seeks to disrupt their life and relationships. In the name of Jesus, we bind and cast out every ungodly dream, vision, or influence that does not align with Your will.

Father, we pray for the protection of their family and loved ones. Guard their hearts and minds from any influence that would seek to pull them away from You or from one another. Give them wisdom and discernment to navigate their relationships in a way that honors You. "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain" (Psalm 127:1). We ask that You would establish godly boundaries and order in their life and the lives of those they love.

Lord, we also pray for those individuals who may be causing strife or division. Soften their hearts, Father, and draw them to Yourself. If there is any unrepentant sin or ungodly influence in their lives, we ask that You would convict them and lead them to repentance. "Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them" (Psalm 51:10). If it is Your will, restore and reconcile relationships where there has been brokenness, but only in a way that brings glory to You and aligns with Your Word.

Father, we ask that You would break the power of these troubling dreams. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Replace every fear-filled dream with dreams and visions of Your goodness, Your protection, and Your promises. Let them wake each morning with a renewed sense of Your presence and a confidence that You are in control.

We declare victory over this situation in the name of Jesus. "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Corinthians 15:57). We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm on Your promises. May they experience Your deliverance and see Your hand at work in their life and relationships.

In Jesus’ mighty and victorious name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s Word and trusting in His promises. Memorize and meditate on Scriptures that speak to God’s protection, peace, and faithfulness, such as Psalm 91, Psalm 23, and Philippians 4:6-7. Surround yourself with godly community who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith. If these dreams persist, consider fasting and seeking the Lord even more fervently, asking Him to reveal any areas of your life that may need His healing or correction.

Remember, "The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10). Run to Him, and He will shelter you under His wings. You are not alone in this battle, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Stand firm, and watch the Lord move on your behalf.

We hear how exhausting and scary this has been for you, recurring dreams and the constant worry that someone else’s presence might pull you away from a relationship you deeply value. That kind of sustained anxiety wears a person down, and we don’t want you to carry it alone.

Sometimes fear loops in our mind because it’s trying to solve a problem we haven’t yet put our hands on in daily life. One thing that might actually help right alongside prayer is gently building a few real-world boundaries. Not out of anger, but simply to protect the time and closeness that matter to you. That might mean planning visits or calls with your relative around a schedule that works, so you know when connection is coming and can guard it. With the person who tends to hover, it may mean practicing a kind but clear “not today” or stepping away briefly when you need space. Boundaries aren’t unloving, they can keep relationships healthy over the long haul.

The dreams may lessen as your waking life begins to feel more contained and less at the mercy of others’ movements. In the meantime, we are praying with you that God would settle your mind at night and give you deep, restorative rest.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, you see the weight this situation has placed on our friend’s heart. We ask you to guard the relationships that are precious to them. Grant them wisdom to set healthy boundaries and courage to protect the time that fosters closeness. Quiet their mind from the torment of these dreams, and replace fear with your steady peace. Let them rest tonight knowing you hold every person and every outcome in your capable hands. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Fear not the dreams that trouble your pillow, for they are but shadows, and you have to do with the living God who neither slumbers nor sleeps. He who watches over Israel has His eye upon you and upon those whom you love; not a hair of their head shall fall to the ground without His will. Your adversary would whip your soul into a froth of anxiety and drive you to seek safety in your own striving, rebuking and binding and resisting what you dread. But Christ has bound the strong man, and all your fears are already captive to His pierced feet. It is not your wrestling with the specters of the night that will bring you peace, but resting in the finished work of Jesus.

The fear which torments you is not of the Spirit. Godly fear bows low before the majesty of God and trembles to sin against Him, but slavish fear crouches in the dark, suspecting malice in every shadow. It makes you imagine that those around you are plotters of your ruin, and that the Lord is slack concerning His promise. Cease from this agitation! The Almighty is not so careless of His children that He should permit your earthly ties to be severed at the whim of a boisterous person. If the Lord be your keeper, who can push through the hedge of His providence? The very dreams you dread are permitted by Him who rules the night; they are not prophecies but the fume of a distempered heart. Cast them out, not by incantations, but by feeding upon the Word until your mind is stayed on Him.

You have asked, and it shall be answered according to His wisdom. But beware lest you make an idol of any creature, clinging so tightly that you forget the Giver in your grip upon the gift. When you cry, “I will never lose the relative I want,” your love, though natural, has grown feverish. The cure for such fear is a nearer walk with Christ. When the soul is full of Him, it can say, “Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.” Then every earthly love falls into its rightful place, secure because it rests in the hands of the Eternal Lover.

Let your prayer be turned to praise. Instead of fighting phantoms, spread the matter before your Father and leave it there. He who calmed the sea with a word can quiet the storm in your breast. Do not strain your eyes watching the comings and goings of others, but look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. He has said, “Fear not,” and that is enough. When you are afraid, trust in Him. The victory you long for is not in the removal of all that threatens, but in a heart so anchored in God that it sings in the tempest.

Therefore, go your way, and let these dreams trouble you no more. Commit your beloveds to the care of Him whose blood has purchased them if they be His. And if any do intrude where they are not welcome, bear it with the meekness of wisdom, for sharpness of spirit often breeds the very strife we seek to avoid. God will make a way for you, and your relations shall not be snatched from you by any hand, save the hand that gathers the lilies for His garden. And even that hand cannot wound without healing; it only transplants to a better soil. Fear not, thou worm, for God is thy help, and thy Redeemer is mighty. Peace be unto you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
