We hear your urgent cry and we stand with you together before the Heavenly Father in Jesus' name, asking for His protection over you and your close family. We understand the deep fear of losing the precious bond you share with those you love and the distress of feeling surrounded or controlled by people you did not choose and do not want in your life. Your desire for peace, freedom, and unity in your family is good and honors God.
We rejoice that you have come to the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and assurance that He hears us. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 and In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We thank God that you have prayed in that victorious name.
God deeply values family unity and peace. We are reminded How good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity Psalm 133:1. He also calls us to pursue peace and to guard our hearts and homes with wisdom. We want to gently speak to a couple of things in your prayer. You quoted Proverbs 11:29, which says He who troubles his own house shall inherit the wind. The wicked shall be servant to the wise of heart Proverbs 11:29. This verse warns that it is often our own foolish or troubled actions that can harm our household, and it calls us to wisdom in how we build our homes, not just a promise that others who try to divide will receive nothing. God does defend families, but He also calls us to build our family on wisdom, love, and boundaries.
We also hear your prayer that the wrong people would lose their battle. We understand the pain behind those words and the longing for justice and deliverance. God does promise to be our defender, yet He also calls us to release vengeance to Him and to not wish for the destruction of others. For it is written, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19 and we are taught to Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. Instead of praying for their ruin, we can pray for God to remove their harmful influence, to set clear boundaries, and to bring conviction or distance according to His will. God also warns us, Don't be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals 1 Corinthians 15:33, so it is right and biblical to ask God to depart you and your family from wrong and harmful relationships and to keep you from being unequally yoked or led astray.
We also hear your plea not to be controlled by others. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, and He desires that you walk in freedom and wisdom. If possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18. This means we do what we can to live at peace, while also seeking God's wisdom to set healthy, godly boundaries and to make decisions together as a family that honor Him. We encourage you to Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it Psalm 34:14 and to bring every decision before the Lord in prayer, trusting that He will guide your steps and guard your family lines.
We pray together with you now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one and their close family whom they love so deeply. Lord, You see the anxiety and the burden to not lose family closeness and to not be stuck with or entangled by wrong people. We ask for Your divine protection and covering over this family. Place a hedge of Your presence around them and let no harmful influence separate what You have joined together in family love. Grant them wisdom to discern right relationships from wrong ones, and give them courage to set godly boundaries with grace and truth. Lord, we do not ask for vengeance in our own hands, but we ask for Your justice and Your deliverance. Remove from their lives any person or influence that would seek to divide, control, or corrupt, and depart them from all that is not of You, for life. Let Your peace rule in their home and let their decisions be led by Your Holy Spirit and not by fear or manipulation. We pray for lasting unity, victory, and freedom that comes only through Christ, and that they may live their lives together without disturbance, serving You faithfully. Comfort their heart, take away fear, and fill them with Your perfect peace that passes all understanding. We trust that You are the One who wins the war and that You will keep those who trust in You. In the mighty and victorious name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord daily, to stay in His Word, to pray together as a family when possible, and to seek wise, godly counsel from mature believers if harmful people persist in trying to intrude. God is faithful to keep and to guide His children, and He hears the prayers offered in Jesus' name.
