We come before the throne of grace with this request, seeking the Lord’s will above all else. First, we must address the foundation of all prayer—faith in the name of Jesus Christ. It is written, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). Without acknowledging Him as the only way to the Father, our prayers cannot be heard. If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12).
Now, regarding your prayer for unity in relationships, we lift this before the Lord with hope. The Bible calls believers to live in harmony, as it is written, *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18). However, we must also caution against a self-centered approach to relationships. True unity is not merely about doing "everything we want to do with each other" but about serving one another in love, as Christ served us. *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"* (Galatians 6:2). If there has been strife or division, we pray for repentance, forgiveness, and reconciliation according to God’s will, not our own desires.
Your request for the restoration of dreams raises concerns. While God does speak through dreams, we must test every spirit and every vision against Scripture. *"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God"* (1 John 4:1). Dreams of fear, death, or unwanted circumstances may not be from the Lord, and we rebuke those in Jesus’ name. Instead, we pray for God’s perfect will to be revealed in your life, for *"the dreams of the righteous are sweet"* (Proverbs 13:19, paraphrased).
Regarding your job request, we pray for God’s provision and wisdom. *"Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:5). However, we must also remind you that God’s timing and ways are higher than ours. If Walmart is where He calls you, He will open the door, but we must not limit Him to our own plans. We also caution against covetousness—seeking $1,600 in a specific timeframe may reflect a heart focused on material gain rather than trust in God’s provision. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33).
Your prayer against gossip, meddlers, and evil schemes is valid, for the enemy seeks to destroy relationships and peace. We stand with you in rebuking these attacks in Jesus’ name. *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). However, we must also examine our own hearts—have we contributed to division or strife? *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9).
Finally, your request for "everything that I want and would want" must be surrendered to God’s will. Our desires must align with His purposes, for *"delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). This does not mean God is a genie granting wishes, but that as we seek Him, our desires will reflect His heart.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your will to be done in every area of their life. Lord, we pray for true unity in their relationships—not based on selfish desires, but on Your love and truth. Heal divisions, soften hearts, and bring reconciliation where it aligns with Your Word.
Father, we rebuke every false dream, every scheme of the enemy, and every spirit of fear or confusion. We declare that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Protect them from gossip, meddling, and every evil plot.
Lord, provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Open the right doors for employment, but let their trust remain in You, not in money or circumstances. Give them wisdom to steward whatever You provide.
Above all, draw them closer to You. Let their desires align with Yours, and may they find their fulfillment in Christ alone. We ask these things in the precious name of Jesus, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
