We join with you in praising our great Lord, for He is indeed good, and His loving kindness endures forever! Your faith in waiting on the Lord for permanent residency is commendable, and we stand with you in trusting that He will provide in His perfect timing. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Your needs are not hidden from Him, and He is faithful to sustain you as you seek His kingdom first.
We also rejoice with you in the anticipation of marriage, as it is a sacred covenant ordained by God. Marriage is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love for His church, and we pray that your union will be rooted in faith, love, and obedience to His Word. However, we must gently remind you that intimacy and the joining together as husband and wife are reserved for marriage alone. If you are currently living with your fiancée or engaging in any form of premarital intimacy, we urge you to repent and align your relationship with God’s design. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 declares, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* If this is not an issue, we praise God for your commitment to purity.
As for your financial needs, we understand the urgency of your situation—legal fees, wedding preparations, and the desire for stable housing are all valid concerns. Yet, we encourage you to cast these burdens upon the Lord, for He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7). While you wait, seek His wisdom in stewarding what you have and trust that He will open doors for provision, whether through unexpected blessings, the generosity of others, or opportunities you have not yet considered. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*
Let us also remind you of the power of the name of Jesus. You closed your request by invoking His name, and we rejoice in this, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in Acts 4:12, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to reign in your heart. There is no greater blessing than to walk in right relationship with Him.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your goodness and faithfulness. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine provision in every area of need. Lord, You see the urgency of the legal fees, the desire for a godly marriage, and the longing for stable housing. We ask that You open the floodgates of heaven and pour out Your blessings upon them, not just for their immediate needs, but that Your name may be glorified through their testimony. Grant them favor in the eyes of those processing their residency, and provide the necessary funds supernaturally. May their wedding be a celebration of Your covenant love, and may their marriage be a light to others, reflecting Christ and the Church.
Father, we also pray for wisdom and patience as they wait on You. Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their Provider, their Jehovah-Jireh. If there is any area of their life that is not aligned with Your Word, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. May they seek first Your kingdom and trust that all these things will be added unto them.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may try to take root in their heart. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good. Lord, we ask that You surround them with a community of believers who can support, encourage, and pray for them during this season.
Finally, Father, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. May our brother/sister walk closely with You, abiding in Your presence daily. Let their life be a testament to Your grace and power. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
