Playing God

I hear people predicting the year they'll die."I'll live to be x years" My mother used to say she'll die at 90 in a plane crash.But she's 87 now, has health issues, and can't really get around to fly, so she changed it to 100. I watch the wrestling matches, and there was one wrestler who said he'd wrestle till 75, then live to be 150.Both predictions were wrong. So the thing is..my understanding is it's GOD who knows the date of our death,,so if we "pick a time" of our own death, isn't that like, we're proclaiming us, and not God, makes that decision?We can't "choose" the day of our death,only God knows.Right?I've seen this in other categories, too.

Our destiny and our future is in Gods hands. We can predict anything like the Jehovahs Witness predicted that Jesus will come back on 1914 and He did not come. Only the Father knows the time when Jesus shall come back for us and take us all to heaven. Just rest in Jesus arms. Believe His word. He will take care of you till the time when He calls you home to heaven. Our life is like a cloud in the sky. We see it for a moment and then it dissapear forever. Live for Jesus. Love Him, praise Him and adore Him. Wonderful things awaits to all of us who believes and trusts His word.

We cannot predict the date of our death. If we did it is a big sin of divination or fortune telling. God does not like it. Only he knows the future.

You'd be surprised, even Christians get bold enough to do this. They "figured out" the date of the Rapture{through human reasoning,and have been wrong every time} they "figured out" who the Antichrist is{been wrong every time.}

Nobody knows the date of Jesus return. Not the angels. Only the Father knows.

You are so right and I have to believe Father God just shakes His head marveling at those who have the slightest notion that they might know something that only He knows for sure and certain. We only know that our days are numbered and He has it all recorded in His Book of Life that He keeps so perfectly, but I do I like to think that there is a shining star by every ones name that has asked Jesus Christ into their hearts. Smiling. It just brings me pleasure to think that.

I am so glad to know that God is alive and well. He will decide when we depart from planet earth and He will decide when Jesus shall return. We do not need to turn to divination or anything the devil brings to our minds. Just believe Gods word and trust Him.
