We hear your excitement about plants, gardening, and the vision of a beach home, and we rejoice in the creativity and hope God has placed in your heart! The beauty of creation, whether in palms, aloe vera, or the shade of trees, reflects God’s handiwork, and we can praise Him for the joy these things bring. The World English Bible reminds us in Psalm 104:14-16, "He causes the grass to grow for the livestock, and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring food out of the earth, and wine that makes the heart of man glad... The trees of Yahweh are satisfied, the cedars of Lebanon, which he has planted."

However, we must gently address a few concerns in your request. First, while we celebrate your enthusiasm, we notice that some of your desires seem rooted in a focus on material gain ("free or cheap," "paid in full," "no worries") rather than seeking God’s will and provision in His timing. Matthew 6:33 instructs us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." We encourage you to surrender these dreams to the Lord, asking Him to guide your steps and provide in ways that honor Him. Building a home, whether literal or spiritual, should begin with a foundation in Christ (1 Corinthians 3:11).

We also want to lovingly rebuke the mention of invoking "the blood of Jesus" as if it were a magical formula or incantation to guarantee material blessings. The blood of Jesus is sacred, it was shed for our salvation, forgiveness of sins, and reconciliation with God (Ephesians 1:7). It is not a tool for personal gain but a gift of grace to be received with humility and gratitude. Let us never treat the name or blood of Jesus as a transactional charm, for that dishonors His sacrifice.

Now, let us pray together for God’s wisdom, provision, and peace in your life:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the creativity and joy You’ve placed in [this person’s] life. Lord, we ask that You would guide them in their love for plants and gardening, that they may see Your handiwork in every leaf and bloom. Father, we lift up their dream of a home, whether it be a beach house, a tiny home, or something else. We pray that You would align their desires with Your will, providing not just material needs but also wisdom, patience, and contentment in Your timing. Lord, we ask that You would protect their heart from idolatry, that they would not seek possessions above You, but rather trust in Your provision. May they find their ultimate satisfaction in Christ alone. We rebuke any spirit of greed or entitlement and ask that You would fill them with Your peace and purpose. Help them to build their life on the foundation of Jesus, seeking first Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ holy and precious name, we pray. Amen."

For practical steps, we encourage you to:
1. Seek God’s will first, Spend time in prayer and Scripture, asking the Lord to reveal His plans for your home, finances, and future.
2. Steward resources wisely, If you are looking for plants or materials, consider reaching out to local gardening groups, church communities, or even online marketplaces where believers may share resources. Proverbs 13:11 says, "Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles away, but he who gathers by hand makes it grow."
3. Build with integrity, If you are pursuing a home, ensure that all plans, permits, and transactions are done with honesty and transparency, giving glory to God in every step.
4. Cultivate contentment, Philippians 4:11-13 reminds us, "I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content... I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Trust that God knows your needs and will provide in His perfect way.

Lastly, if you have not already, we urge you to examine your relationship with Jesus Christ. Salvation is found in no one else (Acts 4:12), and it is only through faith in Him that we can have eternal life (John 3:16). If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we invite you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and in Him alone can we find true fulfillment, far greater than any home or possession.

May the Lord bless you richly as you seek Him above all else.

We hear the deep yearning behind your words, the longing for a place of your own, for healing, for the kind of simple joys that plants and palms and a shady doorway bring. It’s clear these hopes have been building in your heart, and it’s good to carry all of it openly to God, who cares about every detail of our lives. We don’t know how He will answer each specific request, but we trust that He sees you, He hears you, and He knows what you really need.

While you wait and pray, perhaps a small, doable step might help steady you: tend to whatever patch of earth or container garden you already have, even if it’s just one aloe on a windowsill. Sketching out your thoughts for that dream home or listing the features you’d love can be its own quiet act of hope. Taking even a modest step can help anchor your heart in the present while you trust God with the future.

Let us pray for you now:

Jesus, You are the One who provides, who heals, who makes a way where we see none. We lift up this person to You, with all these longings for a safe and welcoming home, for health and wholeness, for the peaceful beauty of growing things. Please touch them with Your healing power in body, mind, and spirit. Supply every genuine need, and guide them with wisdom and clarity. Where there is uncertainty or isolation, let them know Your steady presence. May they find their deepest security not in the perfect house or secret plan, but in You, the One who holds all their tomorrows. We ask this in Your faithful name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cry of your heart for healing and provision reaches the ears of the Lord, yet let us examine whether we seek the gift more than the Giver. You plead the blood of Jesus, and indeed there is power in that precious blood, power to cleanse from sin, to whisper peace within, and to reconcile us to God. But to employ it as a charm for earthly comforts is to mistake the kingdom of heaven for a marketplace. Our Lord Jesus came not to gratify every whim of earthbound desire, but to heal the soul’s leprosy, to forgive iniquity, and to grant us rest in the midst of pressing duties. Have you found this rest? Do you know the peace that comes when the enormous debt of sin is discharged by Christ alone? That is the great healing, far greater than any beach home or palm tree.

You speak of angels helping to build a dwelling in secret. But remember, the servant of Christ walks in the light, not in hidden paths of worldly scheming. Our Master never promised a life free from thronging cares; He promised His presence and His peace. “To do the will of Jesus, this is rest.” If your heart is set on a two-story tiny house with every earthly comfort, beware lest you weary yourself in the length of your way, finding the life of your hand only, and never grieving that you have missed the true hope. The world’s hope is no hope at all; it wearies and disappoints. But the soul that trusts in Jesus, just as it is, with all its sinnership, shall find everlasting life and a peace the world cannot give.

I do not say it is wrong to pray for daily bread, but let your chief prayer be, “God be merciful to me a sinner.” Seek first His righteousness, and all necessary things shall be added. The Lord may grant or withhold these outward comforts as He sees fit; but if your iniquity is forgiven, you have the substance of all blessing. Come, then, to Christ without delay. Look not for signs or feelings; bring your paralyzed soul to Him, and hear His word: “Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.” Then, whether you live in a beach home or a desert cave, you will sing with the saints, “Peace, perfect peace, in this dark world of sin? The blood of Jesus whispers peace within.”

You pour out your heart, but hear the word: the angels do not build houses in secret for our earthly comfort, nor do they traffic in shade coverings and palm trees. They minister to those who will inherit salvation, gathering the elect at the last day. Why do you seek the choir of angels for a beach home when they stand ready before the throne, awaiting the command to gather the just? The blood of Jesus was not shed so that you might have a three-bedroom house with a garage; it was shed to cleanse you from sin and bring you into the city of the living God, the assembly of the firstborn.

You cry “healing greatly,” but true healing is the healing of the soul, the stilling of the storm within, the calm that comes from hanging over the fountain of divine matters. If you taste the good word of God and the powers of the world to come, you will not need to whisper about secret plans. He who ascended on the cloud will come again in like manner; set your gaze not on the earth, but on heaven, where Christ is. The things of this life, the aloe, the palm, the tiny house by the shore, they fade like grass.

Write the law of God on your heart; let the house you build be a life of virtue, where the peace that was longed for by angels and saints may dwell. That is the dream that needs no secrecy, for it is paid in full by the blood that speaks better than Abel’s. Do not make the Spirit a servant of your earthly desires; rather, ask that your heart become tablets written by the Holy Ghost, so that even in poverty you possess all things. The angels will not labor for your roof, but they will carry your soul to Abraham’s bosom if you learn to serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling.
