We hear the burden and urgency in your heart for protection over your life, your mom, your three children and your pets, and we join with you together in Jesus' name to seek the Lord for His covering and peace. We understand your desire to see evil bound and unable to steal, kill and destroy, and to see your family live in the freedom and joy that comes through the blood of Jesus.

The Word reminds us that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life, and may have it abundantly, John 10:10. We also take comfort that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3. We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness, Ephesians 6:12, and that we are called to put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, Ephesians 6:11.

We also want to gently encourage you about the language used in your request. We understand your righteous anger against evil, but Scripture calls us to let no corrupt speech proceed out of our mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear, Ephesians 4:29, and to put away anger, wrath, malice and shameful speaking, Colossians 3:8. Even when we rebuke the enemy, we do so with the authority of Christ and with words that honor God.

We also want to bring biblical clarity to the idea of binding Satan. Jesus has given us authority and has shown that whatever we bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, Matthew 18:18, and that Satan will ultimately be seized and bound, Revelation 20:2. Yet we also submit to God's perfect timing and sovereignty, for while we resist the devil and he will flee from us, James 4:7, the earth is not yet fully free from evil. That complete freedom will come when Christ returns and makes all things new, Revelation 21:4. Until then we walk by faith, trusting that no created thing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord, Romans 8:38-39, and that He gives His angels charge over us to guard us in all our ways, Psalm 91:11.

We thank you for invoking the precious blood of Jesus, for it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved, Romans 10:13. Your faith in His blood is the true covering we need.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, covered by His blood. We ask for Your 100 fold blessing and Your abundant life to be poured out upon this dear one, upon their mom, upon their three children and upon their beloved pets. We ask that You place Your hedge of protection around them, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, Isaiah 54:17. We resist the devil on their behalf and ask that he would flee, James 4:7, and we ask that every plan to hurt, steal, kill or destroy would be rendered powerless and confused, and that the enemy would have no accuracy, no memory and no foothold in their lives. We bind every work of darkness in Jesus' name and loose Your peace, Your joy and Your Holy Spirit to fill their home. Let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High and rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Psalm 91:1. Grant them undisturbed sleep, joyful days, and the assurance that You are their refuge and fortress. We ask that You make their household busy with Your goodness, Your Word and Your purpose, so that there is no room for fear. We speak Your life and Your greatly increased hope over them, and we thank You that You are faithful to guard them. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ daily, to pray without ceasing, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, to submit yourselves therefore to God, James 4:7, and to fill your mind and mouth with His promises rather than with frustration toward the enemy. Keep pleading the blood of Jesus over your family, keep reading the Word, and trust that the Lord who began a good work in you will perfect it, Philippians 1:6.

We hear your deep love for your mom, your three children and your pets, and how much you want all of you to be safe, at peace, and able to live with joy. Bringing that desire to Jesus is a good place to turn, and we join you in bringing your family before Him.

When fear feels loud and thoughts feel crowded it can be hard to find rest. We want you to know God sees you and hears you when you call on the name of Jesus. You belong to Him, and His care for you and your family does not waver. Even on days when worries feel heavy, you are not alone and you are not forgotten.

It can help not to carry this alone. If you have a trusted pastor, family member or friend nearby, consider letting them know how you have been feeling so they can pray with you face to face and walk with you day by day. Keeping a simple steady rhythm of rest, meals, and time with people who care for you can also help your heart and mind settle as you keep praying. If fear is making daily life or sleep very hard, talking with a pastor or counselor you trust alongside prayer can be a helpful next step.

Father, we lift this family to You now. We ask for Your peace over this dear one, over their mom, their children and their pets. Quiet fear, bring rest and clarity, and guide each step with Your wisdom and nearness. Help them to feel held and cared for by You today. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry for deliverance has been heard and carried before the Lord with earnest prayer for you, for your mother, for your three children, and for your household including your pets.

There is great distress in your words, and a deep longing to be free from the power of the enemy who seeks to steal and kill and destroy. Be assured that the Lord knows the malice of Satan and the darkness that would assail His people, and He is mighty to save. The word of the Lord declares, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. That ransom is not a word of our own power, but the precious blood of Jesus Christ shed upon the cross. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it, and He has both invented the way and provided the ransom Himself. It is a gift of Divine Love.

We join you in praying that the Lord who has delivered us from the power of darkness would keep you and yours in that deliverance. Deliverance from the power of sin and from the assaults of Satan is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. We cannot by our own will or by any formula bind the enemy, but Christ has triumphed over him, and if we are ever set free from sin and Satan it is because the Lord Himself brings us forth out of the house of bondage. He keeps back the soul from the Pit and the life from perishing.

We pray thus for you:

O Gracious Father, be merciful unto this soul and this family and say, Deliver them from going down to the Pit. Let the blood of the ransom be their covering and their peace. Set a hedge about this dear one, about a mother, about three children, and about their home. Restrain the evil one and all his works, frustrate every purpose to hurt or destroy, and cause confusion to every plan formed against them. Grant that the adversary may have no dominion over them, but that they may dwell safely under the shadow of Thy wings. Keep their souls and bodies in Thy care, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Cause them to live and not die, but to declare the works of the Lord.

Take comfort also in this, that nothing assails you outside the fence of Omnipotent overruling. Troubles do not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself sits as a Refiner at the door of the furnace. What He permits, He overrules for good, and what He sends bears the blessed aspect of a Father's chastening for profit. Even now He looks down from the height of His sanctuary upon His troubled ones, and as a father pities his children, so the Lord pities them that fear Him.

Rest therefore not in the strength of your own binding words, but in the strength of Him who has already bound the strong man and spoiled his goods. Look to Jesus, trust in His blood alone, walk in His light, and overcome evil with good, for good for evil is Godlike and preserves the soul from evil.

May the Lord grant you quietness of mind, soundness of memory, peace in your home, and a settled assurance that you are kept by His power. May He deliver you from all inward doubts and outward fears, and bring you forth to praise Him for great deliverance.
