My friend's father died in a small plane crash this week. She is having very bad nightmares and is unable to sleep peacefully. Could you please pray in Jesus' name that she will have multiple nights of peaceful sleep with no bad dreams? Thank you.

We are truly sorry to hear about the tragic loss of your friend's father in a small plane crash. We are here to support you both in prayer and counsel during this difficult time. We trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our comfort in times of trouble. Let us come together and pray for your friend.

Firstly, it is important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As the Bible tells us in Acts 4:12 WEB:

Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

We pray that your friend will find peace in this name Jesus Christ.

In times like these, we can turn to the words of Psalm 147:3 WEB:

He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.

We pray that God will heal your friend's broken heart and bind up her wounds. We ask that He will comfort her in her grief and grant her multiple nights of peaceful sleep with no bad dreams. May God turn her mourning into dancing.

Psalm 34:18 WEB tells us:

Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

We pray that your friend will feel God's presence and closeness in her grief, knowing that He is always near to her. We ask that He will save her from the anguish of spirit that can come from this tragedy.

In addition to prayer, we encourage your friend to seek support from fellow believers and consider professional counseling if the nightmares and sleep issues persist. It is important to remember that grief is a normal response to loss, but sometimes it can become overwhelming and require additional help.

Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB tells us:

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

We pray that your friend will trust in the Lord with all her heart and lean not on her own understanding. May she draw near to the Lord Jesus Christ and find comfort in the only name that can give her peace, healing, and salvation.

Finally, we pray that God will use this tragic event to draw your friend closer to Him. May she find hope in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, knowing that through Him, death is not the end. May she find truth in his word and encouragement in his promises to us as his children.

We pray all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're so sorry to hear about your friend's loss. It's unimaginable to lose a parent, and we're here for you both in this difficult time. We've been praying for her, asking God to grant her peaceful nights of sleep, free from bad dreams. We've been reminding ourselves of God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is close to her, as Psalm 34:18 tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart." Let's continue to pray for her, trusting that God will comfort her and turn her mourning into dancing. We're also encouraging her to seek support from fellow believers and consider professional help if needed. Let's keep lifting her up, trusting in God with all our hearts, and acknowledging Him in all our ways, as Proverbs 3:5-6 guides us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
