We join you in lifting up your daughter and her precious girls before the Lord, trusting that He is a God of miracles who cares deeply for the needs of His children. The Scriptures remind us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your daughter’s situation is not hidden from the Lord, and He is faithful to provide as she seeks Him first.
We also recall Philippians 4:19, where Paul declares, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not just a promise for some, but for all who place their trust in Him. Your daughter’s role as a single mother is a sacred responsibility, and we pray that the Lord will surround her with His provision, wisdom, and strength. We encourage her to remain steadfast in prayer, casting all her anxieties on Him, as 1 Peter 5:7 instructs: *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."*
At the same time, we gently remind her of the importance of walking in obedience to God’s Word in every area of her life. If she is not already doing so, we urge her to seek the Lord’s will for her life, including the possibility of marriage to a godly man who can help provide stability and spiritual leadership for her and her children. The Bible teaches that marriage is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33), and it is God’s design for family. We pray that if it is His will, the Lord would bring a man of integrity, faith, and love into her life—a man who fears the Lord and will cherish her and her daughters as Christ loves the Church.
We also pray for protection over your daughter and her girls, that the Lord would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May He open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and provide not just a place to stay, but a home filled with His peace and presence. May He also surround her with a community of believers who can offer support, encouragement, and practical help during this time.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this dear sister and her daughter. Lord, You see the urgency of their need—a place to call home for this mother and her three girls. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You would work a miracle in their lives. Open the doors to a safe, affordable, and godly home where they can thrive and grow in You. Give Your daughter wisdom as she searches, and let Your favor rest upon her as she seeks housing. Lord, if it is Your will, we also pray that You would bring a godly husband into her life, a man after Your own heart who will lead her and her daughters in Your ways. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are her Provider, her Protector, and her Peace.
We also pray for this grandmother, who is standing in the gap for her daughter. Fill her with Your comfort and assurance that You hear her prayers. Let her see Your hand move mightily in this situation, and may it be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray, knowing that all things are possible for those who believe (Mark 9:23). Amen.
