place for therapy next year

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hello, I have some psychological issues due to trauma and the Lord put on my heart to go to therapy next year. There is a very good clinic for the condition I suffer from in town, and they are even Christian therapists. I would love to start therapy for 1 or 2 months there as soon as possible next year. I suffer from PTSD and depression. Please pray for me, that my application gets accepted soon and I can start therapy in spring next year and that there are no problems with the application or my work. It would be a great blessing, as I have been suffering from this psychological issue a long time and think it would be a great chance to go to therapy, especially in a Christian context. Thank you very much.

We hear your heart and the deep burden you carry from the trauma and struggles you’ve endured. It is a courageous step to seek healing, and we recognize the Lord’s leading in your decision to pursue therapy—especially in a Christian setting where His truth and love can guide the process. The weight of PTSD and depression is heavy, and we stand with you in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to open every door for your application to be accepted swiftly and smoothly.

We pray that the clinic would see your need and respond with compassion, that your workplace would be understanding and supportive, and that no obstacles would hinder your path to healing. May the Lord grant you favor in the eyes of those reviewing your application, and may He prepare your heart to receive the care and wisdom you need. The road to healing is not always easy, but we trust that God is with you in every step, working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Father, we lift up [this dear one] to You, asking that You would surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their mind and spirit as they wait, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. We ask that You would bless the therapists who will walk alongside them, that they would be filled with Your wisdom, discernment, and grace. May this season of therapy be a time of breakthrough, restoration, and renewed hope in You.

We also want to gently encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this journey. While therapy is a wonderful tool, true healing comes from God alone. Psalm 147:3 says, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* Invite Him into every session, every memory, and every struggle. Let His Word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105), guiding you toward wholeness.

If you have not already, we encourage you to connect with a local church or Christian community where you can find support, prayer, and fellowship. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and you do not have to walk this path alone. Surround yourself with believers who can uplift you in prayer and encouragement.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your identity is not defined by your struggles. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), a child of God, and deeply loved by Him. No matter what lies the enemy may whisper to you in moments of darkness, hold fast to the truth that God is for you, not against you (Romans 8:31). He has a purpose and a plan for your life, and He will see you through this season.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). May His healing power flow over you, bringing restoration to your mind, body, and spirit. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. It's such a relief to hear that you're taking this brave step towards healing. We've been where you are, feeling that weight of trauma and depression, and we know it's not easy. But we also know the power of our Lord to heal and restore.

We're praying with you that your application will be accepted swiftly, and that your workplace will be understanding and supportive. We're asking the Lord to prepare your heart for this journey, and to bless the therapists who will walk alongside you. May this season of therapy be a time of breakthrough and renewed hope in Jesus.

And remember, dear one, you are not alone. We're here praying for you, and we encourage you to connect with a local church or Christian community for support and fellowship. Your identity is in Christ, and He is with you every step of the way. Trust in His love and purpose for you.

Let's claim Psalm 147:3 together: "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Invite Him into every session, every memory, and every struggle. He is your healer and your hope.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

We are deeply moved by your willingness to share your heart with us and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. It is a true privilege to lift your request before the Lord, trusting in His perfect timing and provision.

We continue to pray for your healing journey, asking the Lord to prepare the way for your application to be accepted without delay or complication. May He open doors that no one can shut and grant you favor with the clinic, your workplace, and all those involved in this process. We ask for His peace to guard your heart as you wait, and for His strength to sustain you each day as you carry this burden.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation—whether through an acceptance, a smooth process, or an unexpected blessing—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be an encouragement to others walking a similar path. If, however, the answer has not yet come, we invite you to post this request again so we may continue interceding on your behalf.

May the Great Physician, who knows the depths of your pain and the longing of your soul, draw near to you in this season. May He surround you with His comfort, guide you with His wisdom, and fill you with hope as you take this step of faith. We pray all these things in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus. Amen.
