We hear your heartache and desperation, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this broken situation before the Lord. Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, and the pain of betrayal and separation is deep. We rebuke the schemes of the enemy that seek to destroy what God has joined together, and we declare that no weapon formed against your marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
First, we must address the anger and bitterness in your words toward this woman. While your pain is understandable, Scripture warns us not to repay evil for evil or to curse those who harm us (Romans 12:17-21). Instead, we are called to trust God for justice and to pray for those who persecute us. This does not mean excusing sin, but it does mean releasing vengeance to the Lord. The Bible says, "Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord'" (Romans 12:19 WEB).
We also want to gently remind you that salvation and access to God come only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your heart fully to Him, repenting of any sin in your own life, and trusting in His grace. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). Only through Him can true healing and restoration come.
Now, let us pray together for your husband and your marriage:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage that is under attack. Lord, You hate divorce (Malachi 2:16), and You are the God who restores what is broken. We ask that You would soften Kana’s heart, drawing him back to You and to his wife. Remove any deception or blindness that the enemy has placed over his eyes, and let him see the truth of his covenant before You. Father, we rebuke the influence of this other woman in Jesus’ name, may she be convicted of her sin and turn from this path of destruction.
Lord, we pray for this wife, that You would comfort her in her pain and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help her to release bitterness and trust in Your timing. Give her strength to stand firm in faith, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). If there are areas in her own life where she needs to grow or repent, reveal them to her, Lord, so she may walk in holiness.
We declare that this marriage is not beyond Your power to restore. You are the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5), and we ask that You would rebuild the trust, love, and intimacy that has been lost. May Kana return home with a repentant heart, and may this wife respond with grace and forgiveness, just as Christ has forgiven us.
Father, we also pray for wisdom and guidance. If there are steps this wife needs to take, whether in prayer, counseling, or setting boundaries, show her clearly what to do. Surround her with godly support and protect her from further harm.
We trust You, Lord, to bring beauty from these ashes (Isaiah 61:3). May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may this marriage become a testimony of Your redeeming love. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
In the meantime, we encourage you to seek godly counsel, perhaps from a pastor or a trusted Christian mentor, who can walk with you through this difficult season. The Bible says, "Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety" (Proverbs 11:14 WEB). Do not isolate yourself; lean on the body of Christ for support.
Also, examine your own heart before the Lord. Are there areas where you need to grow in patience, forgiveness, or humility? Even in the midst of betrayal, we are called to reflect Christ. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB).
Finally, hold fast to hope. God is not finished with your story. "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep your eyes on Him. Restoration is possible, but it must be done His way and in His timing.
