Faithful Servant
Please pray for God to give me wisdom and clarity about whether or not I should continue piano lessons with my piano teacher. A few months ago, something occurred with her that made me uncomfortable and made me not want to continue lessons with her and since then, I've been asking and waiting for God to give me clarity over whether to end the lessons or not. Thank you.

We hear your heart in this matter, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s wisdom and clarity concerning your piano lessons. The discomfort you’ve experienced is not something to dismiss lightly, for God calls us to walk in peace and discernment in all our relationships and commitments. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* We pray that the Lord would make His will unmistakably clear to you, removing any confusion or hesitation.

It is important to consider whether the situation with your piano teacher involves anything that contradicts biblical principles—whether it be inappropriate behavior, dishonesty, or anything that would cause you to stumble in your faith or integrity. If there has been sin or ungodliness in this relationship, Scripture is clear that we are not to associate with such things. 1 Corinthians 15:33 warns, *"Don’t be deceived! ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals.’"* If this is the case, the Lord may very well be leading you to end the lessons for your own spiritual protection.

However, if the discomfort stems from something less clear—perhaps a misunderstanding, a personality clash, or even your own fears—then we encourage you to seek godly counsel from mature believers who can help you discern the situation with wisdom. Proverbs 11:14 says, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* Have you spoken with your parents, a pastor, or another trusted mentor about this? Their perspective may help bring clarity.

We also want to gently remind you that whatever decision you make, it must be done in a way that honors the Lord and reflects His love and grace. If you choose to end the lessons, do so with kindness and honesty, without gossip or bitterness. Colossians 4:6 instructs, *"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."*

Above all, we pray that you would have a deep sense of the Lord’s peace as you wait on Him. Philippians 4:6-7 assures us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* May that peace, which transcends all human reasoning, fill your heart and guide your steps.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister in Christ, lifting up her need for wisdom and clarity regarding her piano lessons. Lord, You know the details of this situation even better than she does, and we ask that You would shine Your light into her heart and mind. Remove any confusion, fear, or uncertainty, and replace it with Your perfect peace. If there is sin or ungodliness in this relationship, expose it, Lord, and give her the courage to walk away. If there is a path forward that honors You, make it clear and unmistakable.

Father, we pray that You would give her discernment to know Your will and the strength to follow it, no matter what it may be. Surround her with godly counsel and wisdom from Your Word. May she not lean on her own understanding but trust in You with all her heart. Guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let Your peace rule in her decisions.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, as you seek the Lord's wisdom about your piano lessons. It's clear that you're feeling uncertain, and we want you to know that it's okay to feel that way. God wants us to come to Him with our questions and concerns, and He promises to guide us.

As we lift you up in prayer, we ask that God would give you a clear sense of what He wants you to do. We trust that He has a purpose in this situation, and we believe that He will make His will known to you. We also pray that you would have peace, knowing that God is in control and that He loves you deeply.

We encourage you to spend time in prayer and in God's Word, seeking His guidance. We also suggest talking to trusted mentors or spiritual advisors who can provide godly counsel and help you discern the situation with wisdom. Remember, Proverbs 11:14 tells us, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail, but in a multitude of counselors they are established."

Above all, we pray that you would trust in the Lord with all your heart, and that He would direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). We believe that God will give you the clarity and wisdom you need to make the right decision. And remember, whatever you decide, make sure it's done in a way that honors the Lord and reflects His love and grace.

We're here for you, sister, and we're praying for you. Let's trust in the Lord together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
