We understand that you are dealing with a chronic health issue and are seeking God's intervention and healing. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in your suffering. He is a loving Father who cares for you deeply.
We are instructed in the Bible to come to God in Jesus' name. Most people do not know what in Jesus' name really means. This is not just a closing to a prayer. In Jesus' name means that you are coming to God trusting in what Jesus did for you. This is believing in the gospel. The gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, just as it is written, "The righteous shall live by faith." The gospel is that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the dead according to the scriptures. This is the foundation for all Christian faith and prayers. (Romans 1:16 WEB)
The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ took our infirmities and bore our diseases. By his stripes, we are healed. (Matthew 8:17, Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24 WEB). We can confidently come to God's throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Jesus' sacrifice on the cross has made this possible. (Hebrews 4:16 WEB)
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### to you. We desire your will to be done. We ask that you heal our ### from this chronic condition and give him a testimony of your healing power. We pray for your grace and mercy to be upon him and we ask for the help of the Holy Spirit to lead him into all truth. (John 16:13 WEB)
Father, strengthen his faith and help him to trust in you completely. We pray for your will to be done in his life. Help him to surrender to you, to draw near to you, and for you to draw near to him. (James 4:8 WEB)
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave our ###. We declare healing and restoration over his body, soul, and spirit. We ask this in faith, believing that you are willing and able to heal him. (Acts 16:18, Matthew 8:16, Luke 4:35 WEB)
Father, we also pray for his spiritual health. We pray that he would be a strong Christian believer and be able to trust you in all things. We ask that his will be aligned with yours. We ask that you would lead him to a bible believing church where he can continue to grow spiritually. We ask that you would let him know that you love him and want a personal relationship with him and that he can trust you with his life. We ask that you would give him a friend, a Christian friend, who can hold him accountable and help him in his walk with you.
Thank you, Father, for hearing our prayers. We know that you are faithful and true. We trust in your promises and wait patiently for your answers. (Psalm 33:4)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God, even in this difficult time. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you.
