We are lifting you up together before the Father in Jesus' name and we hear how weary you must feel with so many physical burdens at once and how discouraging it is when sleep is broken and concentration is stolen away.
We understand the exhaustion that comes from broken sleep night after night, especially when you are being bitten and cannot find the source, and that lingering sense that something else is wrong in your body even as you faithfully manage diabetes and seek answers from doctors. We want to encourage you that God sees your body and your weariness and He cares about every detail. Your body is a temple and He invites you to steward it while also resting in His care. It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones Psalm 127:2 and we cling to the promise that you will both lay yourself down and sleep in peace, for you alone, Yahweh, make you live in safety Psalm 4:8. We encourage you to continue to press for medical answers, perhaps seeking another opinion if needed, and to ask God for wisdom, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. For the biting at night, we encourage you to take practical steps as you are able, deep cleaning bedding, mattress and room, and seeking help with pest inspection if needed, trusting that God gives us wisdom for both spiritual and practical needs, and we pray He will reveal the cause quickly so your sleep can be restored.
We also carry your heart for the book you are writing on God's love. What a beautiful calling, and we understand how frustrating it is when your mind cannot focus as you long to give this message to others. We commit your work to the Lord with you, for commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3, and we trust He will supply the strength and clarity you need in His timing, for he gives power to the faint and to him who has no might he increases strength Isaiah 40:29. We also hear your need for a source of income and we trust our Father who knows your needs. Our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and we pray He will open doors for provision that allow you to rest and to write for His glory. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.
We pray together now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up our dear brother or sister to You. We ask for Your healing touch upon this body, for relief from diabetes complications and for diagnosis and healing of what still feels wrong and undetected. We ask You to reveal what is biting at night and to remove it, and to grant deep, uninterrupted, restorative sleep. We pray You would renew strength and clear the mind, lifting the exhaustion and restoring the ability to concentrate. We ask You to anoint the writing of this book on Your love, that every word would be guided by Your Holy Spirit and bring glory to Jesus and draw many to Your heart. We ask You to provide a steady and godly source of income according to Your perfect will, and to give peace while waiting on Your provision. We cast all our worries on You because You care for us 1 Peter 5:7 and we rest in Your invitation, come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We thank You that You love us with an everlasting love and that we will reign with Jesus as Your beloved. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.
We thank you for your sweet blessing over us and we receive it with gratitude. We are praying that you will feel incredibly loved and held by Him in these weary nights, that He will guard your sleep, restore your health, and carry this book to completion for His glory. Keep seeking Him and trusting His timing, for beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2.
