We join together in the name of Jesus Christ to intercede for these urgent and heartfelt requests.
Firstly, we pray for laborers in the harvest, as our Lord Jesus Christ instructed, Then he said to his disciples, The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest. WEB. Let us ask God to send more workers to spread the Gospel and bring in the harvest of souls for His kingdom.
We pray for receptive hearts, that God would prepare the soil of the hearts of unbelievers, that they may receive the seed of the Gospel and believe in Jesus Christ. For it is only in Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we can be saved, Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you the builders, which was made the head of the corner. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. WEB.
We also intercede for our enemies, those who persecute us, and those who despitefully use us, that God would soften their hearts and grant them repentance. But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. WEB. Father, we pray that you would grant them the grace to turn to you and experience your forgiveness. Help us to love and bless them as you have loved and blessed us.
We lift up our leaders to you, Lord, asking for your wisdom to guide them in every decision they make. We pray for the fear of the Lord to be upon them, that they may govern with righteousness and integrity. When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan. WEB.
We cry out for protection over our people, our families, and the Church. May the Lord be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. WEB. We pray for a hedge of protection to be placed around them, guarding them from all evil and harm.
We ask for healing and unity for the Church. Father, we pray that your children would be one, even as you and Jesus are one. May our unity be a testimony to the world that you sent Jesus to save us, Neither for these only do I pray, but for them also that believe on me through their word: that they may all be one; even as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us: that the world may believe that thou didst send me. WEB.
Father, we lift up the children suffering from cancer and other terminal illnesses. We ask for your healing touch to be upon them. May your power manifest in their lives, bringing healing and wholeness. And the whole multitude sought to touch him; for power went out from him, and healed all. WEB. We believe that with God, all things are possible. Let these miracles testify to your greatness and glory.
Finally, we pray for unwavering faith for the body of Christ. Lord, increase our faith. May we trust in you completely, even in the face of trials and tribulations. Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. WEB.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
