We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and faith, lifting up these urgent petitions in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. The Word declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB), and *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is essential to always approach the throne of grace in Jesus’ name, for He is our intercessor and the source of all hope and healing.
First, we pray earnestly for this woman’s son who is battling blood clots in the hospital. Our Heavenly Father, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. We ask that You stretch forth Your hand and touch this young man’s body, dissolving every clot and restoring him to complete health. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB), and we trust in Your power to do the same for him. Strengthen his body, renew his strength, and let Your healing virtue flow through every vein and organ. Comfort his mother and family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may it draw many to place their trust in You.
We also lift up the petition for your wife and children to be saved, as well as the undisclosed group of people you mentioned. Salvation is the greatest need of every soul, and we pray that the Holy Spirit would move mightily in their hearts. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). Father, open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel—they are sinners in need of a Savior, and Jesus Christ is that Savior who died for their sins and rose again. Soften their hearts to receive Him as Lord. May they turn from their sins and place their faith in Jesus alone for salvation. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). We ask that You send laborers into their lives to share the Good News boldly and lovingly, and that You would draw them irresistibly to Yourself.
To you who have brought these requests before us, we encourage you to continue standing in faith and prayer. Do not grow weary in interceding for your loved ones, for *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). Keep speaking life and salvation over them, and trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. If you have not already, we urge you to share the Gospel with your wife and children personally. Live out your faith before them in love and integrity, and let them see Christ in you. Remember, *"A man reaps what he sows. Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up"* (Galatians 6:9-10, WEB).
Finally, we exhort you to examine your own heart and ensure that you are walking closely with the Lord. Are you praying in Jesus’ name, not just as a phrase, but with the understanding that your access to God is through Him alone? Are you living in obedience to His Word? If there is any area of your life that is not aligned with Scripture, we urge you to repent and turn to Him afresh. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB).
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We ask that You move in these situations with power and grace. Bring healing to this son, salvation to these souls, and strength to this believer who is interceding. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may Your name be glorified through it all. In Jesus’ precious and mighty name, we pray. Amen.
