Personalized Lord's Prayer Outline 🙌 Thanks, Praise, God's Kingdom's Advances (Our Participation) 🙏 Everything Needed for Life & Godliness, Mt6:9-13

Nochaeld

Beloved Servant
[1] Since Jesus' Prayer He taught us was a form, outline, summary of topics, or "pattern prayer;" Teachers, scholars, theologians, pastors, and lovers of God throughout the ages (from all denominations and sides within the Bride of Christ) have suggested various personal outlines and patterns -- many having been studied and most have a consensus of what is revealed, from which the following has been derived [and condensed])...

Lord's Prayer, Personalized: 🙌 Praise to The Father, Petitions Regarding His Name, Kingdom and Will; 🙏 Then Our Needs are Added, Provision, Our Relationship to God and Others, and Protection from Temptation to Sin, evil and the evil one himself, Matt 6:9-13; Matt 6:33 --

🙌 Our Father in Heaven, we first pause and Thank You for sending Your Son! -- "Jesus showed us The Father -- Your Nature," Jn 14:9. Thank You for His shed blood on the cross for our sins, His death, burial, resurrection and ascension to pour out the Holy Spirit of Adoption from The Father, by which we call out, Abba, Father, Gal 4:6, proving we are heirs, Gal 4:7, since as many as received Jesus and believed on His Name are called Children of God, John 1:12-13, praying even with the same language as Jesus in crisis for deliverance, and finally to submit to His will over our own, Mark 14:36. Thank You Jesus for being The Way to have and experience relationship with God and true fellowship with other believers, and power to witness so others may have the same fellowship, 1 John 1:1-3. 🙏 May Your Name get honor through our thoughts, words, speech, actions and reactions. May Your Kingdom come to us & through us with fruit of The Holy Spirit from love ---> self-control, truth, humility & justice, contentment, doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God. May our whole lives be increasingly lived to please You, knowing the Trinity, living in Your presence moment by moment, and making You known as a by product, rejoicing in trials and weakness, as well as power demonstrations when it gives You glory, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18. May we abide in Christ, with freedom to pray, and power to bear fruit, thereby making disciples, and thus proving we are disciples, John 15:7-8, 1 Cor 9:2, 2 Cor 3:2-3, specifically by going, preaching faith in Jesus suffering and dying for our sins, repentance, baptism, forgiveness of sins and obedience to all that He commanded, being witnesses to these facts under His authority, commission by this union with Jesus through The Holy Spirit, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, Matt 28:19-20, John 20:21, Acts 1:8.
<——————-———————🙏——————--————————>
Give us each day our daily bread: Spiritual -- we can't live by bread alone but every Word of God, Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Meet our emotional, social and physical needs so we can love You with all our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30, and our neighbors, even strangers and even enemies, Matt 5:44, as ourselves, Mk 12:31. We confess we've sinned against You and others, receive forgiveness & pray for those who sin against us, asking they'd repent and be saved. Keep us from temptation, sin, evil, evil people and the evil one, Lk 11:4, Mat 6:13, 2 Thes 3:2-3, Jn 17:15. Angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14. Thank You for hearing, Mk 11:24, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

We rejoice in your desire to deepen your prayer life by personalizing the Lord’s Prayer, which Jesus Himself gave as a model for us to follow. Your outline reflects a beautiful alignment with Scripture, emphasizing praise, submission to God’s will, dependence on Him for provision, and protection from evil. We stand with you in gratitude for the access we have to the Father through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to true fellowship with God and one another (John 14:6).

The Lord’s Prayer is indeed a pattern—a framework that teaches us to prioritize God’s glory, kingdom, and will above our own needs. It begins with worship, acknowledging our Father in heaven, and hallowing His name. This sets the tone for everything that follows, reminding us that prayer is not merely about our requests but about aligning our hearts with God’s purposes. Your inclusion of thanksgiving for Christ’s sacrifice and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit is a powerful reminder of the gospel’s centrality in our lives. Without Jesus, we have no access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18), and it is only through His name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).

We are especially encouraged by your emphasis on abiding in Christ and bearing fruit as evidence of discipleship (John 15:7-8). This is the heart of the Christian life—remaining in Him, allowing His Word to dwell in us richly, and walking in obedience. The fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) is not produced by our own efforts but by the work of the Holy Spirit within us as we yield to Him. This fruit is the evidence of God’s kingdom advancing in and through us, as we make disciples and proclaim the gospel to the ends of the earth (Matthew 28:19-20).

Your outline also rightly highlights our daily dependence on God for both spiritual and physical needs. Jesus taught us to pray for our "daily bread," reminding us that every good gift comes from the Father (James 1:17). This includes not only our physical sustenance but also the spiritual nourishment we receive from His Word (Deuteronomy 8:3, Matthew 4:4). We are called to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30), and this requires that we bring every area of our lives—emotional, social, financial, and physical—under His lordship.

The confession of sin and plea for forgiveness is a vital part of prayer, as Scripture reminds us that if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). This humility before God also extends to our relationships with others, as we are called to forgive those who sin against us (Matthew 6:14-15). Unforgiveness can hinder our prayers and grieve the Holy Spirit, so we must guard our hearts and extend grace as we have received grace.

Your prayer for protection from temptation, evil, and the evil one is also biblical and necessary. Jesus Himself taught us to pray, "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one" (Matthew 6:13). The enemy seeks to devour us (1 Peter 5:8), but God has promised to provide a way of escape from every temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13). We can take comfort in the truth that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4), and we can claim the protection of God’s angels as we walk in His will (Psalm 91:10-11).

Let us now join you in prayer, lifting these truths before our Heavenly Father:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of prayer and the access we have to You through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We thank You for the model of prayer You gave us, teaching us to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness. Lord, we praise You for Your holiness, Your sovereignty, and Your unfailing love. May Your name be hallowed in our lives as we submit to Your will and walk in obedience to Your Word.

Father, we ask that Your kingdom would come and Your will be done in our lives, in our families, in our churches, and in the nations. Empower us by Your Holy Spirit to bear fruit that glorifies You—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Help us to abide in Christ, remaining connected to the Vine so that we may bear much fruit and prove to be His disciples.

Provide for our daily needs, Lord, both spiritual and physical. Nourish us with Your Word and meet us in our times of weakness. Give us the strength to love You with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one and all his schemes.

We thank You for hearing our prayers, for You are faithful to answer according to Your will. Protect us, guide us, and use us for Your glory. May we walk in the authority and power of Jesus’ name, making disciples and advancing Your kingdom until the day of Christ’s return. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord in prayer, dear brother or sister. The more we seek Him, the more we will know His heart and align our will with His. Prayer is not a duty but a privilege—a sacred conversation with our Father who loves us and invites us to participate in His redemptive work in the world. May you grow in intimacy with Him as you pray without ceasing, trusting in His goodness and sovereignty over all things.
