🙌 Personal Lord's Prayer: 1st Praise, Thanks & God's Kingdom; 🙏 Our Needs, Matt 6:9-13; Matt 6:33 -- 🙌 Father, Thank You -- "Jesus showed us The Father," May Your Name get honor through our thoughts, words and deeds. May His Kingdom come to us & through us with fruit of The Holy Spirit from love ---> self-control, truth, humility & justice, doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God. May our whole lives be increasingly please You, knowing the Trinity, living in Your presence moment by moment, and making You known as a by product, rejoicing in trials and weakness, as well as power demonstrations when it gives You glory, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18.

<——————-———————🙏——————--————————>

Give us each day our daily bread: Spiritual, Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, emotional, social and physical needs so we can love You with all our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30, and our neighbors, even strangers and even enemies, Matt 5:44, as ourselves, Mk 12:31. We confess we've sinned against You and others, receive forgiveness & pray for those who sin against us, asking they'd repent and be saved. Keep us from temptation, sin, evil, evil people and the evil one, Lk 11:4, Mat 6:13, 2 Thes 3:2-3, Jn 17:15. Angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14. Thank You in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

We join with you in lifting up this beautiful and heartfelt prayer, aligning our hearts with yours as we seek the Lord together. Your words reflect a deep reverence for God’s holiness, a hunger for His kingdom, and a humble dependence on Him for daily provision, protection, and forgiveness. We echo your praise and thanksgiving, for the Lord is indeed worthy of all honor, and His kingdom is our greatest treasure.

The way you have structured this prayer after the model Christ gave us in Matthew 6:9-13 is a powerful reminder of how we ought to approach God—first exalting His name, surrendering to His will, and then bringing our needs before Him. Your emphasis on the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—is a testament to the transforming work of the Holy Spirit in a believer’s life. We are called to walk in these virtues, not by our own strength, but by the power of God working within us (Galatians 5:22-23).

Your prayer also rightly acknowledges the importance of spiritual nourishment, as Jesus declared, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). We must feast daily on His Word, for it is our sustenance and our guide. Likewise, your inclusion of emotional, social, and physical needs reflects the truth that God cares for the whole person. He desires that we love Him with every fiber of our being—heart, soul, mind, and strength—and that we extend that love to others, even those who may oppose us (Mark 12:30-31).

We are especially encouraged by your confession of sin and your plea for forgiveness, both for yourself and for those who have wronged you. This is a mark of spiritual maturity, for Scripture tells us, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). Your prayer for those who sin against you, that they would repent and be saved, is a reflection of Christ’s own heart, who prayed for His persecutors even from the cross (Luke 23:34).

Your request for protection from temptation, evil, and the evil one is vital, for we are in a spiritual battle. The enemy seeks to devour, but God has given us His armor to stand firm (Ephesians 6:10-18). We take comfort in the promise that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the angels of the Lord encamp around those who fear Him (Psalm 34:7).

We also affirm your closing in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are forgiven and made righteous. If anyone reading this has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Let us now pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of praise and thanksgiving. Your name is holy, and Your kingdom is our greatest desire. We ask that You would continue to work in us, producing the fruit of Your Spirit, that we might reflect Your character to the world. Lord, we confess our sins before You, both the things we have done and the things we have left undone. We ask for Your forgiveness and pray that You would soften the hearts of those who have wronged us, that they too might repent and come to know You.

Father, we ask for our daily bread—spiritual, emotional, social, and physical. Strengthen us to love You with all that we are and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Protect us from temptation, evil, and the schemes of the enemy. Surround us with Your angels, and keep us in Your perfect peace.

We thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus, through whom we have access to You. May we walk in His footsteps, making disciples of all nations, and may Your kingdom come in us and through us. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We echo your heartfelt prayer, dear friend, and join you in lifting these petitions to our Heavenly Father. Your words resonate with a deep love for God, a longing for His kingdom, and a humble dependence on Him for daily provision and protection. We stand with you in praise and thanksgiving, for indeed, our Lord is worthy of all honor and His kingdom is our greatest treasure.

We are particularly moved by your petition for spiritual nourishment, as Jesus taught us, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4). Let us, like you, hunger for His Word daily, for it is our sustenance and our guide. We also appreciate your inclusion of emotional, social, and physical needs, reflecting the truth that God cares for the whole person. May we love Him with every fiber of our being and extend that love to others, even those who may oppose us.

Your confession of sin and plea for forgiveness, both for yourself and for those who have wronged you, is a testament to your spiritual maturity. We are reminded of Christ's own heart, who prayed for His persecutors even from the cross (Luke 23:34). Let us, like you, seek forgiveness and pray for those who sin against us, that they too might repent and be saved.

We also join you in asking for protection from temptation, evil, and the evil one. We are indeed in a spiritual battle, but we take comfort in the promise that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the angels of the Lord encamp around those who fear Him (Psalm 34:7).
