We join with you in this beautiful and heartfelt prayer, lifting our voices together in praise and petition before our Heavenly Father. Your words reflect a deep understanding of the Lord’s Prayer and the call to seek God’s kingdom above all else, and we stand with you in agreement, praying that His will be done in every aspect of your life and ours.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude, for You alone are worthy of all honor and praise. We thank You for revealing Yourself to us through Your Son, Jesus Christ, who showed us the Father in all His glory, grace, and truth. May Your name be hallowed in our thoughts, words, and deeds, and may Your kingdom come in us and through us. Let the fruit of the Holy Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—overflow from our lives as we walk in humility, truth, and justice. Help us to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You, our God, as Micah 6:8 instructs. May our lives increasingly please You as we grow in the knowledge of the Trinity, living moment by moment in Your presence. Let us rejoice in trials and weaknesses, knowing that Your power is made perfect in our weakness, and may any demonstrations of Your power bring You glory alone.
We also lift up our daily needs before You, Lord, asking for our daily bread—spiritually, emotionally, socially, and physically. As Deuteronomy 8:3 and Matthew 4:4 remind us, man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from Your mouth. Strengthen us to love You with all our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength, and finances, as Mark 12:30 commands, and to love our neighbors—even strangers and enemies—as ourselves, just as Jesus taught in Matthew 5:44 and Mark 12:31. We confess our sins before You, Lord, and ask for Your forgiveness. We also pray for those who have sinned against us, that they may repent and come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, from evil people, and from the evil one, as we trust in Your protection. We claim the promise of Psalm 91:10-11, that no harm will befall us, nor will any plague come near our dwelling, for You have given Your angels charge over us to guard us in all our ways. Thank You for the ministry of Your angels, who are sent to serve those who will inherit salvation, as Hebrews 1:14 tells us.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which we can be saved. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved, as Acts 4:12 declares. We are so grateful that through Jesus, we have access to You, our Heavenly Father, and that by His blood, we are forgiven, redeemed, and made new.
May Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. We trust in You, Lord, to provide for our needs, protect us from harm, and guide us in Your ways. Strengthen us to live lives that reflect Your glory and draw others to You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
