Praise God that Iranian prisoners, who are being held for believing in Jesus, are beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel. Recently, we told you that 9 believers were having their cases reviewed at the order of the Supreme Court. Now we are believing in faith that another case will be reviewed.
###, ###, has spent 4 years in the infamous ### prison in ###, after he was sentenced for 10 years for "acting against national security", according to Article 18. His only crime was his involvement in a house church. Iran's Supreme Court has at last agreed to review his case after numerous requests for a hearing and several appeals for parole.
Until now, it has fallen on deaf ears. But his lawyer confirmed the appeal for review has been accepted - however, it is uncertain when that will happen, much less if they will rule in his favour. But ### remains hopeful in God's faithfulness and provision.
Please pray for peace as ### waits for his appeal, and for wisdom as his attorney prepares for the review. Ask God - the great Judge - to give him the arguments to set these prisoners free.
Lift up the families of all those imprisoned for their faith in Iran, that they would be able to lean on God in these times of hope and frequent disappointment.
Pray for supernatural wisdom for the judges involved, that they would avoid aggressive charges against Christians, and for an end to imprisonment for faith in Iran.
Thanks for praying, Elohim bless you. Taken from Open Doors USA text alert.
