We hear your cry for justice and provision, and we stand with you in bringing this burden before the throne of grace. The Word of God tells us, *"The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously"* (Psalm 37:21). It is deeply painful when those who have made commitments fail to honor them, especially when it brings financial strain and emotional exhaustion. But we take comfort in knowing that the Lord sees your faithfulness and your surrender to Him.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too hard for You. We lift up this situation to You, asking that You intervene on behalf of Your child. Lord, You know the hearts of those who owe this debt—soften them, convict them, and move them to repay what they owe. If there is hardness or deceit in their hearts, break it by the power of Your Spirit. Let Your justice prevail, not as the world gives, but as only You can provide.
We also pray for Your peace to guard this heart. The mental exhaustion and frustration are real, but You promise to give rest to the weary (Matthew 11:28). Strengthen this one in spirit, reminding them that their trust is not in people or circumstances but in You alone. Help them to release bitterness or resentment, for You say, *"Vengeance is mine; I will repay"* (Romans 12:19). Let them walk in forgiveness even as they seek justice, so that their own heart remains free from the weight of unforgiveness.
Lord, if there is any unrighteousness in how this situation was handled—whether in the lending, the terms, or the pursuit of repayment—we ask that You reveal it. Give wisdom to navigate this with integrity, so that no action taken would dishonor You. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), whether through the repayment of this debt or through another miraculous provision. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who sees and provides.
We rebuke any spirit of lack, delay, or oppression that may be at work in this situation. In the name of Jesus, we declare that the windows of heaven are open over this life, and that every promise of God is "Yes" and "Amen" (2 Corinthians 1:20). May this trial produce endurance, character, and hope (Romans 5:3-4), and may Your glory be revealed in the outcome.
Above all, we thank You that this one has surrendered their struggle to You. That is the posture of victory. Keep them close to Your heart, reminding them that You are their Defender, their Provider, and their Peace. We trust You to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28), even when the path is unclear. In Jesus’ holy and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
