We hear the distress in your request and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to bring you peace, protection, and deliverance from this ongoing harassment and fear. We know how heavy it feels to believe you are being stalked and targeted, and to feel that there is no escape, and we bring that burden before Jesus together.
We want to gently encourage you with what Scripture teaches about both spiritual warfare and how we view other people, including children. The Word tells us in Ephesians 6:12 that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. The enemy does work through strife and harassment, and it is right to seek deliverance in Jesus' name. At the same time God calls us to see people, even those who hurt us, as souls in need of His mercy, and to pray for them rather than to curse them. Jesus said in Matthew 5:44 to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Children especially are precious to the Lord, as Jesus said in Matthew 19:14 to allow the little children to come to Him, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these. We encourage you not to see the children themselves as weapons from Satan, but to pray that the Lord would protect those children and bring conviction and repentance to any adults who would use them to cause harm.
We also hear your longing for a permanent restraining order and for the harassment to simply stop. While we understand that desire for safety and boundaries, we know that ultimate protection comes from the Lord Himself. He is your refuge and fortress. As Psalm 91:1-2 says, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. And Psalm 34:17 reminds us that the righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord promises in Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, and in Psalm 27:1 that Yahweh is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear, Yahweh is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid. He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as 2 Timothy 1:7 teaches.
We encourage you to walk in both faith and wisdom. Continue to cry out to God for deliverance, and also take practical steps for peace and safety. If you are truly being threatened or stalked, document what is happening and seek help from trusted pastoral counsel, godly community, and the proper authorities who are appointed to protect. Romans 12:18-19 calls us, if it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men, and to not seek revenge yourselves, but give place to God's wrath, for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. We can trust God to be your defender and to deal justly with those who harass you.
We pray together now for you.
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before You on behalf of our sister who is weary and distressed. Lord, You see every insult, every threat, every harassing word and action, and You know the fear and exhaustion it has caused. We ask You to surround her with Your presence as her refuge and fortress, to command Your angels to guard her as Psalm 91:11 promises, and to deliver her out of all her troubles. We ask in Jesus' name that You would rebuke every work of the enemy, every spirit of harassment, intimidation, and strife, and that You would break its power completely. Fill her heart not with fear but with Your power, love, and sound mind, and let Your perfect love cast out fear.
Lord, we also lift up those who have been harassing her. We pray that You would convict their hearts, open their eyes to the harm they are causing, and lead them to repentance and to salvation in Jesus. Protect the children involved, keep them from being used for evil, and draw their families toward Your truth and peace. We ask that You would stop the stalking and threatening, that You would establish godly boundaries and lasting peace, and that You would give our sister wisdom, discernment, and favor as she seeks safety and help. Let no weapon formed against her prevail, and let her dwell in Your secret place in quietness and confidence. We trust You as her permanent protector and deliverer, and we thank You that You hear our cry. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, amen.
