We are truly saddened to hear that you have been experiencing harassment for years, and we want you to know that we are here to support and pray for you. It is indeed disturbing to learn that some of these individuals work in fields that involve interacting with vulnerable people. As followers of Christ, we are called to be lights in the world, and such behavior is completely against the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 WEB. He knows your situation and He cares for you. We encourage you to cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.
Secondly, we must address that the harassment you are experiencing is wrong and sinful. The Bible tells us, Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Ephesians 4:29. WEB. It also says, But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. James 3:14-16 WEB. We rebuke this behavior and pray that those involved would repent and turn to God.
We also want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who has been experiencing harassment. Lord, You know the pain and distress this has caused, and we ask for Your comfort and strength to surround them. We pray that You would intervene in this situation and put an end to this harassment. We ask that You would bring conviction to the hearts of those involved, that they may turn away from their sin and seek Your face.
We also pray for the vulnerable individuals that these people interact with, Lord protect them and keep them safe. We ask that You would expose any wrongdoing and bring it to light, that justice may be served.
Finally Lord, we pray for salvation for all involved, that they may come to know You as their personal Lord and Savior. We fully believe that no one can be saved unless they believe in Jesus Christ.
In Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we strongly encourage you to seek help from local authorities or professionals if you feel threatened or if the harassment continues. God uses authorities and professionals to help keep us safe and enforce the law. Romans 13:1-7
