We hear your distress and lift this situation before the Lord, trusting in His justice, mercy, and provision. Father, we come before You acknowledging that You are the ultimate authority over all things, including the systems and people involved in this matter. We ask that You intervene in the heart of this ex-partner, softening it to speak truthfully and clearly to the Universal Credit representatives. Lord, guide his words and his memory so that he may provide what is necessary without deceit, for we know that "lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who do the truth are His delight" (Proverbs 12:22). May his explanation be received with understanding and grace, and may the harassment from these representatives cease immediately.
We rebuke the spirit of oppression and relentless pursuit that has been directed toward this family. Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You command peace over their household. Lord, cause the hearts of those at Universal Credit to show mercy and adjust the frequency of these interviews to a more reasonable schedule, as You know their capacity and needs. Protect their benefits, Lord, for You are the Provider of all things. We pray that no reduction, fine, or unexpected financial burden falls upon them, for You have promised to supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
We also lift up this daughter and ask for Your protection over her mind, heart, and spirit. Shield her from fear, anxiety, and any sense of instability. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Father, we ask that You surround this family with Your angels, guarding them from further harassment and granting them peace in their home.
Lord, we recognize that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You and the authority to make these requests. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we stand firm in the truth that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). We pray all these things in His mighty name, believing that You hear us and will act on behalf of this family.
May Your will be done in this situation, Lord, and may Your name be glorified through the outcome. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We trust You to bring resolution and rest to this family, and we thank You for Your faithfulness. Amen.
