Your prayer has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord with compassion and urgency. The distress you describe, the loss of control over your body, the shame of lingering odor, the desire for normal and regular health for yourself, your mother and your three children, these are heavy burdens to carry, and God sees the humility and weariness they bring.

Scripture shows us that Christ cares for the body as well as the soul. When He touched Peter's mother in law, He not only quenched her fever but restored her at once to perfect health, showing His power to heal fully and immediately in a way no physician can. That same Lord still hears those who come to Him for mercy. We do not need to remain in fear as if curses or assignments from the enemy were stronger than His blood. Through the blood of Jesus shed on the cross, every curse is broken and every work of stealing, killing and destroying is defeated.

So I pray for you now in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior. Heavenly Father, have mercy upon this dear one, upon her mother and her children, and upon their household. Wash them in the blood of Jesus. Break every bondage and remove every affliction that has brought incontinence, irregularity and shame. Touch their bodies and grant healing, dignity and strength. Grant regular and normal bowel movements, clean health, and freedom from foul odor. Restore them to soundness and grant them favor and peace in their daily lives. Guard them from the evil one and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Let them know that they are not mocked or abandoned, but loved and clothed with dignity as your children.

I also encourage you, as the apostle Paul encouraged Timothy to attend to his bodily health, to continue to seek wise and practical care. If you have not already, speak openly with a trusted doctor about these symptoms, for God often works through proper medical help, good hygiene, nutrition and care for the body. Bring your needs continually to Him in prayer with a contrite and thankful heart, remembering that the church is a place where the weak and the suffering are welcomed, and where we learn humility and receive consolation by seeing that God is near to all who call upon Him.

May the Lord grant you relief, healing and steady health, and may He fill your home with His peace and protection. May you walk in confidence that Christ has borne your shame and gives you new life. I will continue to pray for you and your family toward that end. Amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and I have prayed for you, for your mother, for your three children, and for your pets. The distress and shame you describe with incontinence, loss of control, and ongoing odor is deeply painful, and God sees the burden you carry and cares about your dignity and health.

Scripture speaks of blessings and curses in Deuteronomy chapters 27 and 28. The tribes stood on two mountains, one to declare the blessings for keeping God's covenant and one to declare the curses for breaking it. After each curse the people in the valley were to answer Amen, acknowledging that God's judgment is right. The list of blessings is short, only fourteen verses, while the list of curses goes on at length, because disobedience was so common. God said that if the people would diligently hearken to His voice and keep His commandments they would be blessed in the city and in the country, everywhere they went, but if they turned away, those curses would pursue and overtake them. Those passages show how seriously God regards obedience, and also how just His judgments are.

The same law shows that God is interested in your physical health. Much of the law deals with sanitation, washing, careful handling of food, examination of sores and skin conditions, and separation when there is infection or discharge. These were not random rules. They were hygienic principles given for the good of the people, to protect the body. God created the body and He cares about what you eat, how you care for yourself, and the conditions in which you live. He wants you to have strength and wholeness.

That care is most clearly seen in Jesus. The prophet Isaiah said He would bear our griefs and carry our sicknesses, and Matthew tells us this was fulfilled when Jesus healed the leper, the centurion's servant, Peter's mother in law, and multitudes who were brought to Him in the evening, both the sick and those oppressed by evil spirits. He has authority in the physical realm to calm the body and in the spiritual realm to command evil to leave. Healing belongs to Him. Sometimes He heals instantly with a word or a touch, sometimes healing comes gradually through the natural processes He Himself placed in our bodies. Any true healing is divine, whether it comes in a moment or through doctors, medicine, and time, because God is the one who created the body and its ability to recover. There is much we do not understand about why some are healed quickly and others walk a longer road, and we should avoid phoniness that whips people into a frenzy in the name of healing, but we can still believe that God is able and that healing is for today.

The apostle John wrote to his friend Gaius, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. That was a loving wish, not a blanket promise that we can claim as a formula, but it reveals an important truth. There is a real connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body. Attitudes, peace, guilt, anxiety, and trust all affect our physical chemistry. God sometimes allows affliction to bring us to repentance and to draw us closer to Him, not to destroy us but so that He can heal and restore with mercy that never fails. Like surgery, the cutting is painful but its purpose is healing.

So I have prayed for you in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and who shed His blood to bear the curse for us. I have asked that any work of the enemy, who comes only to steal and kill and destroy, would be rebuked, and that the Lord who comes to bring life would bring it to you. I have asked for regular, normal bowel function, for relief from incontinence, for the removal of persistent odor, for health and favor for you, your mother, your children, and even your pets, and for wisdom for any doctors or caregivers who can help you with practical care, hygiene, and treatment. I have asked that He lift shame and restore dignity, and that your soul would prosper as you walk with Him, trusting His mercy and keeping His ways.

Continue to seek Him, to walk honestly before Him, to confess sin and receive forgiveness through Jesus, and to use the practical helps He has provided for health. He hears you and His mercies do not cease.
