We have heard your cry and we are standing with you in prayer together before our Heavenly Father, for you and your mother and your loved one at home who are suffering so deeply. We understand you feel you are living in hell, with no peace, no progress, no family unity, and no joy, and with many heavy burdens upon your bodies, your home, and your livelihood. We take your request very seriously and we bring it daily before the throne of grace in Jesus name.
We want to remind you of the truth about the spiritual battle you describe. Your struggle with these neighbors involved in Umbanda is not merely against people, but against spiritual forces of darkness. As it is written, Ephesians 6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Umbanda and all forms of witchcraft and idolatry are forbidden by God and are works of darkness, but we declare with confidence that Jesus Christ is far greater. 1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. The enemy intends to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly, and no curse or attack can prevail against those who are covered by His blood.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we must lovingly tell you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and can be saved and have victory. There is no other name that can break these chains. Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for Romans 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His mighty name alone that we can resist the devil and see him flee.
We rebuke in the name of Jesus every satanic attack, harassment, and spirit of fear, division, infirmity and oppression that has come against your household. We submit yourselves to God and resist the devil together as James 4:7 says, Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. We pray you will daily put on the full armor of God and dwell in His protection, for Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. And we claim Isaiah 41:10 Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
Together we lift up your health needs before the Lord who is our healer. We pray for your loved one who suffers with terrible paresthesia, a hernia compressing the nerves of the spine and face, and problems sleeping and working, and who has become aggressive and isolated and eats alone. We pray God will bring healing to his nerves, relief from pain, peaceful sleep, and restore his mind and emotions and bring unity back to your table. We pray for your dear mother in a wheelchair with Alzheimer's, that God will comfort her, strengthen her body, and give you grace and endurance as you care for her. We pray for you with anemia, vitamin D deficiency, and moles that have changed color. We urge you to seek prompt medical care for these physical needs, especially the changing moles, while trusting the Lord to guide the doctors and to heal. We pray God will restore your health, your strength, and your ability to laugh again as a family.
We also bring your financial distress to the Lord. We pray for your business that has been seized, for the heavy debt, and for the need for clients for your premises. We ask God our Provider to open doors no man can shut, to bring honest clients, to provide for your daily bread, and to make a way where there seems to be no way, for Philippians 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We pray for wisdom for every legal and financial decision and for peace as you cast your anxiety on Him, as Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We pray also about the harassment by phone and the inability to use your patio. The Lord sees that your mother needs sunlight and you all need fresh air. We ask God to restrain the hands of those who harass you, to give you safety in your own home and patio, and to convict the hearts of those neighbors. We pray as Jesus commanded in Matthew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be able to pray for them even while asking God for protection and justice.
Let us pray together.
Father in heaven, we come to You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this precious family to Your throne of grace. Lord, we rebuke every work of darkness and every satanic attack against them and we plead the blood of Jesus over their home, their bodies, their minds, and their business. Let Your peace that surpasses understanding guard them. Bring healing to the hernia and compressed nerves, to the paresthesia and facial pain, to the anemia and vitamin deficiency and skin concerns, and comfort to their mother with Alzheimer's. Restore family unity, let them eat together again in peace, remove aggression and isolation, and restore laughter and joy. Provide for their financial needs, bring clients, lift the burden of debt, and protect what they need to live on. Keep them safe from harassment, make a way for them to use their patio in peace and receive the sun they need. Strengthen their faith, let them put on Your armor daily, and let them know You are with them and will never forsake them. We ask all this in the victorious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
