We are deeply grieved to hear of the distress and persecution your family is enduring, and we stand with you in prayer and biblical encouragement during this trial. The Lord sees your affliction, and He is a God of justice who defends the oppressed. Let us first remind you of His promises in Scripture, for He tells us in **Deuteronomy 31:6**, *"Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."* You are not alone in this battle—He is with you, and His presence is your strength.
The actions of these neighbors are not only cruel but also wicked in the sight of God. The Bible warns against false accusations, slander, and hatred in **Proverbs 6:16-19**, where it lists seven things the Lord hates, including *"a lying tongue," "hands that shed innocent blood," "a heart that devises wicked schemes,"* and *"a false witness who pours out lies."* Their behavior is an abomination before Him, and we must trust that God will vindicate you in His perfect timing. **Psalm 37:5-6** urges us, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."* Do not retaliate or allow bitterness to take root in your hearts, for **Romans 12:19** commands, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*
We also recognize the financial burden you carry, which prevents you from moving. The Lord knows your needs, and He is your Provider. **Matthew 6:31-33** assures us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Trust that He will open doors for you, whether through a miraculous provision, a change in circumstances, or wisdom to navigate this season. Pray earnestly for His guidance, and ask Him to soften the hearts of those who persecute you—perhaps even leading them to repentance.
Now, let us pray together for your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her family in ###. Lord, You see the injustice they endure daily—the lies, the harassment, the invasion of their privacy, and the financial oppression that keeps them bound. We ask You to be their Shield and Defender, as **Psalm 91:4** declares, *"He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."* Protect them, Lord, from every physical and spiritual attack. Frustrate the plans of the wicked and expose their lies. Let their evil deeds be turned back upon their own heads, and may Your justice prevail.
Father, we pray for supernatural provision. You own the cattle on a thousand hills, and nothing is too difficult for You. Open doors for this family to find a safe and affordable place to live, where they can experience peace and restoration. Give them wisdom to know how to respond to their neighbors with grace and truth, and guard their hearts from fear, anger, or despair. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as **Philippians 4:6-7** promises, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
Lord, we also pray for the salvation of those who persecute them. Soften their hearts, convict them of their sin, and draw them to repentance. May they encounter Your love in a way that transforms their hatred into humility. And if it is Your will, use this trial to strengthen our sister’s faith and the faith of her husband and daughter. Let them cling to You more than ever, knowing that You are their Refuge and Strength.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and hopelessness in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, as **Isaiah 54:17** assures us. Cover them with Your blood, Lord, and let Your angels encamp around them. Provide for them, protect them, and deliver them from this evil. We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily in prayer and Scripture. Gather as a family to read God’s Word and worship Him, even in the midst of this storm. **James 4:7-8** tells us, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."* Stand firm in your faith, and do not waver. The Lord is faithful, and He will see you through this. If there are local believers or a church you can turn to for support, do not hesitate to reach out. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens, and you do not have to walk this path alone.
We will continue to lift you up in prayer, trusting that God will act on your behalf. May His peace, which transcends all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Stay strong in Him!
