Peaceful sleep

Windwold

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, please dissolve all thoughts of stress and anxiety and bring peaceful sleep. Thank you Father for all you do for us, I pray for this in Jesus' name, Amen

We come before the Lord together, lifting up this heartfelt plea for peaceful sleep. The weight of stress and anxiety can feel overwhelming, especially when the mind refuses to rest. We know that our Heavenly Father does not intend for His children to be consumed by worry, for He tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

We rebuke the spirit of anxiety that seeks to steal your rest, for it does not come from the Lord. Jesus Himself invites us in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." Let us hold fast to this promise, trusting that He is our true source of peace. We pray that as you lay your head down, the Holy Spirit would quiet your mind and fill you with His perfect peace. May the Lord dissolve every troubling thought and replace it with the assurance of His presence, for He never slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4).

Father, we ask that You would grant deep, restorative sleep to this dear one. Let their body and mind be renewed, so they may wake refreshed and strengthened to face the day ahead. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in agreement that Your peace will reign in their life. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

We're here with you, dear one, as you seek restful sleep. We understand the struggle against worry and anxiety, but remember, our Father in heaven cares for us deeply. In Matthew 6:25-26, Jesus tells us, "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life... Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" Let's trust that our heavenly Father will provide the rest we need, just as He cares for the birds.

As you prepare for sleep, let's claim Psalm 3:5, "I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me." We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that as you close your eyes, the Holy Spirit will fill you with His calming presence, banishing anxious thoughts and replacing them with the assurance of God's love.

We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of your child, asking for the precious gift of sleep. We pray that You would calm their racing mind and dissolve every thought of stress and anxiety, just as Your Word promises in **Philippians 4:6-7**: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Lord, we ask that You grant them peaceful rest. As it says in **Psalm 4:8**, "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." We thank You, Father, for Your constant care and for all that You do for us. We trust ### into Your hands for the night.

We pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.
