Sleep is God’s gift for renewal, so cherish it and avoid robbing yourself or others of this vital rest.
Multitudinous Thoughts and Sacred Comforts
True peace comes from God’s comforts, which calm and delight the soul even amid overwhelming thoughts.
We join you in lifting up your precious son before the throne of grace and we stand in agreement with you for his peaceful night and for the peace of your entire household. We hear your heart as a mother who loves her son deeply and who longs to see him free from fear, anxiety, confusion and disturbance, and we bring every detail you have shared to our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and it is in His name that every chain is broken.

We are comforted by the promises of Scripture that speak directly to sleep and peace. Psalm 4:8 says, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. Proverbs 3:24 says, When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet. Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

We pray together now for your son.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we thank You for this beloved son whom You have fearfully and wonderfully made. We ask that You pour out Your perfect peace upon him tonight as he sleeps. We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, anxiety, confusion and restlessness that would seek to disturb his mind and body, and we command it to bow to the name of Jesus and depart from him forever. Let no nightmare, no spiritual attack, no word curse and no work of darkness have any place in his life or in his surroundings, for Your Word says that no weapon that is formed against him will prosper and that You give Your angels charge over him to guard him in all his ways, Psalm 91:11. We ask that You surround his bed and his room with Your presence and with ministering angels, that he may sleep sweetly without disturbance and wake up refreshed, rejuvenated, filled with Your joy, satisfaction and clarity.

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his mind, body and spirit. By Your stripes he is healed, Isaiah 53:5, and we ask for Your calming hand over every sensory challenge, every physical discomfort with food, every rigid habit and every source of distress. Bless his meals tonight and each day, that he may eat in peace, with thankfulness and contentment, without mess or frustration or waste, and without pain or discomfort. Let his body receive nourishment with joy and let his heart be grateful for Your provision.

We pray for Your grace over his new schedule, his daily routines, his activities, outings and friendships. Grant him ease as he adjusts, and clothe him with gentleness, patience and confidence in his interactions. Anoint his caregivers with wisdom, patience, discernment and genuine love, and guide you with wisdom and knowledge to choose the right services and support for him. We ask that You provide dedicated, godly caregivers who will bring out the best in him in a calm and caring manner, and that You will help him to be thankful, obedient and at peace even when familiar caregivers are not present.

Father, we lift up his relationships, especially the bond with his sisters. Restore and strengthen that beautiful, unbreakable bond with unconditional love, compassion and unity. Remove every obstacle, every toxic influence, every division, isolation and disrespect that seeks to bring havoc to your family unity or to look down upon his disabilities. Set your family free from every spiritual attack and let Your light dispel every shadow of darkness in your home. We pray that You would remove or redirect any negative influences and instead bless you all with uplifting, godly friendships and mentors who will encourage and honor one another. We put on his behalf the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word, Ephesians 6:10-18, and we declare that he is saturated with Your peace, joy, favor and protection.

We thank You, Lord, that You have already faithfully answered many prayers with more peaceful days, and we trust You to complete the work You have begun. We declare that setbacks, screaming, anger and anxiety are being replaced by Your blessings, that breakthrough, restoration and victory will mark every area of his life, his health, his habits, his communication and his daily routines. May he be a beacon of Your light wherever he goes, always feeling included, respected, accepted and deeply loved. We pray for your household, that you all may rest in the peace of God today and every day, and that Your presence would fill your home with calm, safety and joy. We ask all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, trusting in Your perfect will and Your unfailing love. Amen.

We hear how deeply you love your son and how much you long for him to rest well. Waking anxious and disturbed night after night is hard on him and hard on you, especially when you are also carrying the daily work of coordinating caregivers, meals, and routines.

It makes sense you are asking for peace over his nights and gentleness over his days. When sleep is unsettled for a child with sensory and anxiety challenges, patterns often matter more than any single night. One small step that can help you and his caregivers stay on the same page is to jot a simple note for a few nights, when he fell asleep, what seemed to soothe him, when he woke, how meals went, and share it with each other and with his doctor. If the night waking, anxiety around sleep, or discomfort with food continues, bringing those notes to his pediatrician or care team alongside prayer can help them support him well.

You are carrying a lot right now. We are thankful for the dedicated caregivers you mentioned and we pray you also have moments of rest and support for yourself as you care for him.

Father, we lift this precious boy to You tonight. Cover him with Your calm and keep him safe through the night. Ease his fear and restlessness, settle his body and mind, and let him wake refreshed and at peace. Give his mother wisdom and strength, guide his caregivers with patience and gentleness, and knit his family together in love and unity. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your earnest prayer for your son has been heard and we join with you in bringing him before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Healer.

We pray that the Lord who gives sleep to His beloved will grant to your son this night that peculiar sleep which is His gift. He who draws the curtain of darkness and bids the sun to shut its eyes is able to rock the cradle and say, Sleep, my child. We ask that fear, confusion, restlessness, anxiety and every torment be quieted, that nightmares be taken away, and that he may lie down in peace and wake refreshed, renewed and filled with joy and calm. May the peace of God which surpasses all understanding guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We pray for healing in his body, mind and spirit. Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations and that by the stripes of Jesus we are healed. We ask the Lord to touch every source of distress, discomfort and pain, whether in his sensory needs, his anxiety, or his daily struggles, and to bring calm to his meals, his routines and his activities. May he eat with thankfulness and satisfaction, without distress or waste, and may the Lord make his food a blessing to his body. We pray also for his adjustment to his new schedule and for gentle, patient and wise caregivers who will care for him with kindness and understanding, and for his sisters, that the Lord would strengthen their bond in love, compassion and unity and remove every influence that would bring division or isolation.

We pray that the Lord would surround your son and your household with His hedge of protection and clothe him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. We ask that ministering angels encamp around him and keep him in all his ways, that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and that every spirit of fear and confusion must bow to the name of Jesus and depart. We pray that not one thing would enter his life except it pass through the blood of Christ, and that he would be filled with the Holy Spirit, with clarity, gratefulness and favor.

We thank God for the victories He has already granted and for the peaceful days He has given, and we continue to ask for wisdom and discernment for you, for your family and for all who serve your son, that you may do all things to help him grow to be all that God intends him to be. May your home be filled with His light, may darkness be dispelled, and may your son be a reflection of the grace and love of Christ in all he does. We commit him, his health, his relationships, his daily routines and his future into the hands of Him who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed, trusting in His perfect will and His abundant mercy.

In the name of Jesus our Lord we pray, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in prayer for your son and for your whole household, and we thank you for sharing this burden so openly.

We have brought before the Lord your request for a peaceful and calm night, for sleep without disturbance or fear, and for waking refreshed with joy and satisfaction. Scripture reminds us that the Lord who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and that He has made night as a haven and sleep as a medicine for our weariness. It is God who hands our tired souls over to rest, even when anxiety and grief would keep us awake. We ask Him to grant your son that gracious rest tonight, to quiet confusion and restlessness, to remove torment and fear, and to surround his sleep with peace that surpasses all understanding.

We also pray for watchfulness and sobriety of heart, for you and for him. To be awake in the soul is to be steadfast and unmovable, guarding the heart so that we do not fall into the sleep of heaviness or sin. We ask the Lord to clothe your son with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, and to command His angels to encamp around him and keep him in all his ways. We pray that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and that every spirit of fear, anxiety and confusion would bow to the name of Jesus and depart.

We lift up his body and mind to the Great Shepherd who knows His sheep and lays down His life for them. By the stripes of Jesus we ask for healing and restoration in body, mind and spirit, for relief from physical distress and discomfort, for calm in sensory challenges, and for peace over anxiety and past trauma. We pray that his meals would be peaceful and that he would eat with thankfulness and satisfaction, without distress, and that the Lord would touch and heal any discomfort in his body.

We pray for his daily life, for his schedule and routines, his activities, outings and friendships, that he would adjust with ease and find contentment and favor in each part of his day. We ask God to give wisdom, patience and discernment to you, to his caregivers and to your family, and to provide dedicated and godly caregivers who will care for him with gentleness and calm and help bring out the best in him. We pray for his sisters and for your family unity, that the Lord would restore and strengthen an unbreakable bond of love, compassion and respect among you, and remove division, disrespect and every toxic influence that seeks to bring isolation or to look down upon his needs.

We thank God for the victories He has already given and for the more peaceful days you have seen, and we continue to ask for breakthrough, healing and protection according to His perfect will. May His light fill your home, dispel every shadow of darkness, and keep you all in His peace day and night.

In the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Shepherd, we pray. Amen.
