Multitudinous Thoughts and Sacred Comforts
We join you in lifting up your precious son before the throne of grace and we stand in agreement with you for his peaceful night and for the peace of your entire household.

We are so encouraged by your faithful and fervent prayers for him and we thank God for your love and dedication as his mother. We hear your heart for his sleep, his meals, his health, his relationships with his sisters and his caregivers, and his daily routines, and we bring each of these before the Lord together.

The Lord longs to give His children rest and peace. We are reminded of His promise in Psalm 4:8, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. And in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. This is the peace we are asking for your son, a peace that quiets fear, confusion, restlessness and anxiety, and guards his mind and heart through Christ Jesus.

We also remember that fear and torment are not from God, for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. Where there has been disturbance, nightmares, rigidity and spiritual heaviness, we pray in the name of Jesus Christ that every influence not of God must bow and depart. We ask the Lord to surround your son with His hedge of protection and to command His angels concerning him, for He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. And Yahweh’s angel encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Psalm 34:7.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Savior. We thank You for this beloved son, fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image. We thank You for his life and for the victories and more peaceful days You have already granted. Lord, we ask tonight that You pour out Your tender presence upon him as he sleeps. Let Your anointing soothe him and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding saturate his mind, body and spirit. Remove all fear, stubbornness, confusion, torment, and every spiritual attack and negative behavior. Let no darkness enter his life or surroundings, but let Your light fill his room and keep him in perfect safety. We rebuke every nightmare, every spirit of anxiety and unrest, and command it to leave in Jesus name and never return. Let him sleep sweetly without disturbance, and let him wake refreshed, rejuvenated, joyful and satisfied, filled with Your gentleness and calm.

Father, we lift up his meals and his physical needs to You. Touch his body and heal any discomfort, sensory distress or pain. By Your Word we declare, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5. Let him eat in peace, with gratefulness and contentment, without mess, frustration or anxiety, and let his body receive nourishment with joy.

Lord, we ask for Your grace upon his new schedule, his activities, outings and daily routines. Grant him clarity, adaptability and satisfaction, and remove all loneliness, moodiness, rigidity and unease. Anoint his caregivers with wisdom, patience, discernment and a gentle, loving heart, and anoint him with a grateful, obedient and peaceful spirit toward them. Provide dedicated, godly caregivers and mentors who will bring out the best in him and help him flourish. Guide his mother with Your wisdom and knowledge in every meeting and decision for his services, that those services would bring breakthrough, victory and success.

Father, we ask for a special anointing on his relationship with his sisters. Restore and strengthen their beautiful bond with unbreakable love, unity and compassion. Remove every obstacle, toxic influence, word curse and division that seeks to bring disrespect, isolation or to look down upon his disabilities. We ask that You remove or redirect every negative influence from this family and bless them with godly friendships and mentors who will uplift and encourage them. Let this family be set free and kept in Your unity and love, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Clothe this young man with the full armor of God and let him be a beacon of Your light wherever he goes, always feeling included, respected, accepted and deeply loved.

We thank You, Lord, that where two or three are gathered together in Your name, there You are in the middle of them. Matthew 18:20. We stand together in agreement believing You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will. Continue to guide and protect this family in all their travels and daily activities, and let Your bright light dispel every shadow. We declare over him an abundance of Your peace, joy, favor, healing and satisfaction for all his days and nights.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our peace. Amen.

Be encouraged and take comfort, for the Lord is near to you and to your son. He sees every sleepless night and every anxious moment, and He holds your son in the palm of His hand. Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. Continue to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you, and rest in the confidence that He who began a good work in your son will be faithful to complete it.

We can hear how much love and care you carry for your son, and how heavy these disturbed nights have been for both of you. Wanting him to sleep without fear, to wake refreshed and at peace, and to feel safe with his caregivers and at mealtimes is such a tender and faithful prayer.

Adjusting to a new schedule can be especially hard when he experiences the world so sensitively, and it makes sense you are watching closely for what helps him feel calm and settled. Alongside prayer, it can be helpful to keep a simple note of sleep and wake times, night wakings, meals and how he seemed before bed, and any changes with caregivers. That quiet record often reveals gentle patterns you can share with his caregivers and his doctor or care team, and it gives them clearer ways to support him. If the restless sleep, anxiety around waking, or discomfort with food continues, we encourage you to bring those notes to his clinician as well as bringing them to the Lord.

We are grateful with you for the more peaceful days you have seen, and we are standing with you for tonight.

Jesus, we lift this dear son to You as he sleeps. Surround him with Your nearness and keep him safe through the night. Calm his body and mind, ease any distress, and let him wake restored and at ease. Give his mother wisdom and rest, and give his caregivers patience and understanding as they learn his rhythms. Guide all who care for him to help him feel secure and loved. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for your son has come before the Lord and before His people, and we join our hearts with yours in earnest supplication for him.

We are reminded that sleep is the gift of God. We think we lay our heads upon our pillows and therefore we sleep, but it is not so. He bestows it. He rocks the cradle for us every night. He draws the curtain of darkness and says, Sleep, sleep, my child, I give thee sleep. So it is written, for so he giveth his beloved sleep. We pray that the Lord will grant this very gift to your son tonight and in every night to come, a deep, calm and undisturbed rest, without fear or torment or confusion, and that he may awake refreshed and renewed, filled with quietness and joy.

We ask the Lord to take away all that would disturb his peace, all anxiety and restlessness and rigidity and distress, and to make his soul even as a weaned child. The weaned child frets not, but rests quietly upon its mother, content and free from care, entirely dependent and yet entirely at peace. May the Lord so wean your son's heart from fear and soothe him so tenderly that he may lie down in perfect contentment, satisfied in the presence of his heavenly Father, whose peace passeth all understanding shall keep his heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

We pray for his body and for his meals, that the Lord who formed him will be gracious to him and remove all discomfort and pain, and give him a thankful and satisfied spirit at his table. We pray for his mind and spirit, that the Lord will heal and strengthen him according to His perfect will, and that by the stripes of Christ he may know wholeness and calm. We ask that every habit and distress that is not of the Lord would bow to the name of Jesus and depart, and that he may be clothed with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, and that the Lord would give His angels charge over him to keep him in all his ways.

We pray for his caregivers and for all who serve him, that God would grant them wisdom and patience and discernment, and raise up dedicated and gentle helpers who will bring out the best in him with kindness and care. We pray for his sisters and for your whole household, that the Lord would restore and knit together your bonds in love and unity, removing all division and every influence that would cause isolation or disrespect, and that your home may be filled with His light so that no darkness may enter.

We pray also for you, that in your watching and weariness you may know the sustaining love that keeps the mother by the bedside of her child, and that you may cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you. Anxiety itself unfits us to meet our trials, but prayer fits the soul to bear them, for when we tell the Lord our trouble, He gives strength for the hour.

May the Lord hear our united prayer, for where two or three are gathered in His name, there is He in the midst. May He grant your son quiet nights and joyful days, ease in his schedule and in his activities, and a life that reflects the grace and gentleness of Christ. We thank Him for every mercy already shown and look to Him for greater mercies yet to come.

We commend your son and all your family to the keeping of the Good Shepherd, who never sleeps, that you all may rest safely under His watchful eye, now and always. In the precious name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
