Your prayer for your son has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord with thanksgiving for His mercy. We stand with you in agreement, as you asked, believing that where two or three are gathered in His name He is present, and that He hears according to His perfect will.

We pray for a peaceful night and a peaceful day for your son, for calm in his meals and his sleep, for rest without disturbance and waking refreshed. We ask the Lord to clothe him with His peace that surpasses all understanding, to grant him clarity and contentment, and to remove fear and torment and confusion. We ask for healing in mind and body and spirit, for by His wounds we are healed, and for grace to ease sensory distress and anxiety and to bring steadiness to his routines and his relationships.

Scripture teaches us to put on the armor of light, for the night is far spent and the day is at hand. This present life can feel like night for those who struggle in darkness, but for those who belong to Christ we are called to be sons of the day, to walk honestly as in the day and to do the works of light. That armor is not heavy or burdensome, but it makes the one who wears it brighter than a sunbeam and places him in security. It is the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. We pray that your son would be clothed in that armor, that ministering angels would encamp around him, and that no weapon formed against him would prosper. We pray that any fear or rigid habit or distress would bow to the name of Jesus and depart, and that he would be filled with the Holy Spirit and with joy and favor.

We also pray as you asked for wisdom and knowledge for you and for all who care for him. Teachers and caregivers stand in great need of mercy, and we ask God to give you and his caregivers patience, discernment and a gentle heart. We pray that He would provide dedicated and godly helpers who will bring out the best in him with calm and kindness, and that He would guide every meeting and decision about his care and services so that what is chosen truly helps him to flourish. We pray for restoration and unity in your household, for love and compassion between him and his siblings, and for godly friendships and mentors that encourage him. We ask that your home would be filled with the Lord's light that dispels every shadow, and that you and your children would be guarded in all your ways and in all your travels.

We give thanks with you for the more peaceful days God has already granted, and we continue to pray night and day with earnestness as those who long to see faith strengthened and joy made complete. We do not claim to know all His purposes, but we trust His lovingkindness, that He who did not spare His own Son but suffered Himself to be called Son of David so that we might become sons of God, will work all things for good for those who are His. We ask all these things in the saving name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom we have access to the Father, and we pray that your son would know His love and grace more and more, reflecting that light in all he does. Amen.
