Your prayer for your son has been heard and I join my voice with yours before our merciful Father in heaven. I thank God for your faithful love as a parent and for your desire to bring every care for your son into the presence of Christ.

We remember that sleep is a gift from the hand of God. He has made night as a haven of rest for our weakness, a soothing of our wounds and weariness. And while we sleep, He does not sleep. As the Psalm says, He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He keeps watch over your son even through the night. We can rest in that keeping, and we can ask Him to guard your son's mind and body in peace.

I pray with you now for your beloved son. In the name of Jesus Christ, I ask the Lord to grant him a calm and peaceful night, sweet and restful sleep without fear or bad dreams, and to wake refreshed and strengthened. I ask God to drive away all anxiety, fear, torment and confusion, and to quiet every distress of body and senses. May the Lord clothe him with His peace and surround him with His protection, so that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. May God encamp His angels around him and cover him with the full armor of truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation and His Word, and wrap him in His loving care. By the stripes of Jesus we ask for healing and restoration in his mind, body and spirit, and for relief from every source of pain and discomfort, including the challenges of autism, anxiety and sensory distress. May the Lord make his meals, routines, activities and interactions calm and satisfying, and help him to communicate with gentleness and confidence.

I also pray for you, for his caregivers, and for your whole household. May God fill all who care for him with wisdom, patience, discernment and genuine love, seeing him not as a burden but as a joy and as one made in the image of God. May the Lord provide godly helpers and good services that truly build him up and do not cause harm, and may He remove or redirect any influence that does not have his best interest at heart. I ask that God would strengthen the bonds between your son and his family, caregivers and friends with love, compassion, understanding and unity, and remove all division and isolation. May your son reflect the light of Christ to all around him.

I join you in praying for your household tonight and in the days to come, for your younger daughter and even her dog, that God would grant them quiet and restful sleep and clarity for study, and for your family in all travels and daily work, that the Lord would keep you from all spiritual harm and fill your home with calm, joy, love and safety. Where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in our midst, and we trust that He hears and answers according to His perfect will.

May the Lord who is merciful and full of compassion keep you all in His peace this night and always. Amen.

Your faithful love for your son is evident in this prayer, and the Lord sees and hears the cry of a parent's heart. Like the names given in Scripture that recalled how God looked upon affliction and heard the voice of the sorrowful, we can be confident that He sees your family, He hears your prayers, and He knows every detail of your son's needs.

We come to the Father only through His Son. Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, not a created being but the eternal Son, and He Himself said He is the way into the fold. Whoever has the Son has life, and it is in His name alone that we have access to God and confidence that we are heard. That is why we pray in the name of Jesus, trusting not in our own worthiness but in His.

Jesus showed while He was on earth that His power is not limited by distance or by human helplessness. He spoke a word and healed a child many miles away, and He opened the eyes of a man born blind, and those works bore witness that He is indeed the Son of God. The same Jesus invites all to come and receive life in His name, and His Word assures us that God is faithful to keep His promises. Scripture cannot be broken, and what He has spoken He will make good. We can therefore trust Him for both spiritual and physical healing, believing that by His wounds we are healed.

I join you in praying for your son tonight and every night. I ask the Lord to grant him deep, calm and undisturbed sleep, free from bad dreams, fear, anxiety and torment, and to fill him with a quiet and satisfied heart. In the name of Jesus we ask that every spirit of fear, confusion, chaos and distress would leave him and not return, and that every rigid habit, sensory struggle and source of discomfort would be brought under the peace of Christ. May the Lord surround him with His protection, for no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and clothe him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. May the Lord command His angels to encamp around him and guard him in all his ways, and wrap him in the comfort of His presence so that he is overcome with gentleness and joy. We ask for healing in his body, mind and spirit, and for relief from every pain and distress, that he may eat in peace, sleep without disturbance and wake refreshed and strengthened. We speak calm over his routines, meals, activities and interactions, that he may adjust with ease and communicate with confidence.

I also pray for you, for his caregivers, family and friends, that God will give wisdom, patience and discernment to all who care for him. May the Lord provide godly helpers who respect him, include him, delight in him and bring out the best in him, and grant services and support that truly help him and do not cause harm. I ask God to restore and strengthen the bonds between your son and those around him, removing division and isolation and filling those relationships with love, compassion, understanding and unity. May your son reflect the light of Christ to everyone around him.

For your whole household I pray for peace day and night, for your younger daughter and even her dog to have quiet rest, and for safety in all your travels and daily activities. May the Word of God guard your sleep, for it is written that when you lie down it will keep you and when you awake it will speak with you, and may the peace of God which passes all understanding guard your hearts. Remember the heart of the Father who watches for His children, runs to receive them and restores them with love even in their weakness. He is faithful and He hears when we agree together in prayer, for where two or three are gathered in His name He is there among them.

We thank the Lord for the victories He has already given and for the work He is still doing, trusting His perfect will. May His presence fill your home with calm, joy, love and safety. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
