Thank you for sharing how God answered your prayers last night. How good it is to hear that your son had a peaceful night and a calm day, and that his meals went well after you reached out for prayer. We are trusting the Lord with you again tonight.

We can sense the deep love behind every word you wrote, and we know how much you pour into advocating for your son’s peace and well-being. Watching a child struggle, even in small ways, wears on a mother’s heart, and yet you keep turning it all over to Jesus. That alone is a testimony of grace.

Tonight, we are simply asking our Father to quiet every part of your son’s mind and body, the same peace he experienced once, we ask again. We’re praying that this adjustment to a new schedule would not become a battleground, but a place where the Holy Spirit gently soothes and settles him. We pray that his caregivers would have wisdom and patience, and that your daughter and even your dog would rest undisturbed. You mentioned physical distress and seizure-free months; if you haven’t already, we gently encourage you to keep his doctors informed of any new symptoms, not out of fear but because God often works through wise medical care alongside prayer.

For you, we pray that the long list of concerns would not feel like a weight you carry alone. You’re standing on the promises, and you’re not standing by yourself. We are standing with you tonight.

Lord Jesus, we lift this beloved son to You again. Wrap him in Your presence and let Your peace that goes beyond understanding fill his room. Calm every inner restlessness, remove every fear or agitation, and help him to eat, rest, and simply be at ease tonight. Give his mother the gift of a quiet heart as she entrusts him to Your care. Protect their home, their travels, and their relationships. In Your name we ask for a truly peaceful night and a good day ahead. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Great cause for thanksgiving indeed that the Lord has granted your son a quiet night and a peaceful day. It is a mercy to be acknowledged with a grateful heart. Yet I would have you remember that the peace which God bestows is not always the mere absence of outward disturbance, but a deep, abiding rest of soul which the blood of Jesus whispers within. "Peace, perfect peace! In this dark world of sin? The blood of Jesus whispers peace within." Lay hold of that blood for your son, and for yourself, that the Holy Spirit may create in him a new heart, for "he maketh intercession for the saints," and no true, lasting calm can come to any child of man until he is born of the Spirit.

You plead earnestly for his manners, his meals, his moods, and his rest. It is right that you should cast these cares upon the Lord. Yet I beseech you, do not sin against the child by forgetting the one thing needful. While you ask for a peaceful, obedient, and satisfied outward frame, see to it that you labour above all for his immortal soul. Let your prayers press beyond the temporal, into the eternal. Is the child a child of light? Does he walk in the light, as God is in the light? The surest evidence of grace is the mind’s perception of revealed truth and a child-like obedience to it. Pray that he may know God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent, for to know Him is life eternal.

Exactness in obedience is, indeed, as I have often said, the very essence of obedience, but this exactness must spring from a heart renewed by faith. Abraham went out, not merely to conform outwardly, but because he believed God. Seek for your son that faith which worketh by love; then shall his habits and his peace flow from a right inward fountain. Let not your desires, however tender, settle for anything short of that. Even the most attentive outward reformation will profit him nothing if there be no heart to perceive, nor eyes to see, nor ears to hear the Lord and His Word. The land of promise lies smiling beyond Jordan, but none can enter in unless almighty grace renews the soul.

Cast yourself afresh upon the covenant mercy. The Spirit helpeth our infirmities, and when you know not what to pray for as you ought, He maketh intercession with groanings which cannot be uttered. Trust your son into those pierced hands; from Jesus’ bosom nothing but calm is found, even when sorrows surge around. Commend him to the care of the Good Shepherd, and wait upon God with patient expectation. The Lord is able to do exceeding abundantly above all you ask or think, but He ever works according to His own holy will. Count it a blessed thing to leave the ordering of every night and every day in those hands, and be not over-anxious if the outward peace be not always as you have prescribed. The normal condition of a child of God is to walk in the light, but sometimes the child of light is permitted to walk in darkness that he may lean more wholly upon his God.

Continue in supplication, for it is God that writes intercession upon men’s hearts. And yet, with all your asking, see that your own soul rests in that perfect peace which is the portion of him whose mind is stayed on Jehovah. The blood of Jesus whispers peace; let that be your confidence. Go forward, then, trusting His promise, and may the Lord grant that your son, and all your household, may prove the reality of that word, “Whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth,” and also that sweeter word, “I will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on me.” Let your faith be unmoved, and your obedience be prompt and cheerful, and may the Spirit Himself bring you all to the enjoyment of that peace which passeth all understanding, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

You have poured out many words asking for prayer, and it is right to bring such requests to the Church, for the prayer of the saints avails much. Yet do not imagine that because others intercede for your son, you may now rest as though the work were done. If we wake, we shall not need the help of others; but if we sleep, the help of others will profit us nothing. Even the Apostle Paul did not say, "What need have I of prayer?" though he labored more than all. You must yourself be on the alert, guarding your heart and your household, lest you fall asleep and the adversary gain a foothold.

You ask for peace, and rightly so. But recall the Lord’s own words: He came not to send peace, but a sword. True peace is not the absence of all conflict, but the calm within the soul that comes from wholehearted trust and active vigilance. The God of peace will bruise Satan under your feet shortly, yet that promise is for those who stand steadfast and unmovable. Such suffering depends on ourselves, not on another. You rebuke the enemy and command negative habits to flee; that is good. But see that you also live peaceably with all, even toward those outside your home. Nothing so conduces to the right ordering of life as to be free from hatred and to have no enemy. Then the very feet of those who bring good tidings may be beautiful because the ground is prepared.

And do not think a great multitude of words will secure the answer. The Lord knows your need before you speak. That does not mean you should pray little, but pray with a watchful mind, not carelessly. The Lord often withdrew to a garden, to a place free from disturbance, to speak with the Father. Seek such quiet for your own soul, not only asking for your son’s calm but cultivating it in yourself. If you are anxious about his schedule and meals and habits, you labor in your own strength; lay those burdens down with thanksgiving, and the peace that surpasses understanding will guard your heart.

Your desire for his healing is natural, but do not think God’s power depends on the prayers of others while you remain idle. God’s part has been completely fulfilled in Christ; the not seeing the answer yet is not His failure. Therefore, be not negligent. Do not add to your petitions an unlawful prayer, as if you could command God. Instead, submit every request and then trust Him. He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. Let your own soul be the place where peace begins, and then that peace will saturate your home far more than any anxious rebuking.

The Lord be with you all.

Thank you for entrusting this request to us again. It is a joy to hear how the Lord answered your prayer for a peaceful night and a calm day. Your faith-filled persistence honors Him, and we join you in thanking Jesus for His tangible presence and help.

The image that comes to mind is the door of the sheepfold. A door laid across the entrance, both a resting place and a barrier. No harm could enter without crossing over the one who guarded the flock. That is a picture of how the Lord positions Himself over your son. Every disturbance, every fear, must come through His permission, and He is fully capable of holding it back. When your son lies down, it is not his own strength keeping him safe, but the unwavering watch of the One who neither slumbers nor sleeps.

I am also reminded of the deep sleep the Lord can send to accomplish His purposes. There were times when a whole camp of soldiers fell under a supernatural sleep, not from exhaustion but from God’s direct hand, while deliverance was worked in the darkness. In the same way, the rest you are asking for is not merely physical absence of agitation; it is a gift from above, a divine calming that quiets the storms within and surrounds your son with a peace that surpasses understanding. When that peace settles, it becomes a keeper, speaking assurance to his heart even while he rests.

Your prayer touches on so many layers of healing and restoration. Yet the thread holding it all together is the confident knowledge that Jesus stands at the point where your son’s need meets heaven’s supply, like the ladder Jacob saw with the Lord above it. Heaven is not distant. The help, the peace, the adjustment to new rhythms, all flow down from that open connection. So as you ask for a calm, obedient, satisfied night, you are not reaching into emptiness. You are tapping into a real, active presence that has already shown itself faithful.

Continue to hold firmly to the word that assures you wisdom from God will keep your son when he sleeps and speak with him when he wakes. Let that promise steady your heart tonight. Every detail you have lifted up, his meals, his caregivers, his interactions, the very atmosphere of your home, can be bathed in that same protective peace. Because you have gathered with others in His name, He is with you, and His presence is your son’s safest enclosure. Rest in that together.
