We join you together before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ for your precious son, and we stand in agreement with you for his peace and calm and rest today. We thank God for the love you have for him and for your faithful intercession over every detail of his life, from his sleep and his meals to his hygiene and his time with caregivers and visitors and his moments of sensory sensitivity.

We are encouraged by your faith to rebuke the spirits of fear and torment and confusion and agitation, for we know that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as it says in 2 Timothy 1:7. We agree with you that every spirit not of the Lord must flee gently and never return in Jesus name, and we claim the promise that the name of Yahweh is a strong tower, the righteous run to him and are safe in Proverbs 18:10. We also rebuke every word curse and every work of witchcraft and every negative influence that has tried to bring division and setback into his life and into your family, for no weapon that is formed against you will prosper in Isaiah 54:17, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world in 1 John 4:4.

We take comfort in the promises of God for your son. We claim Philippians 4:7 that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and his thoughts in Christ Jesus. We claim John 14:27 where Jesus says Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives, do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. We claim Isaiah 41:10 that God will strengthen him and uphold him with the right hand of His righteousness, and Isaiah 26:3 that He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him. We claim Isaiah 53:5 that by His stripes we are healed, for the healing of his mind and body and spirit from autism and anxiety and PTSD memories and negative habits. We claim Psalm 91:11 that He will put His angels in charge of him, to guard him in all his ways, over your home and every room and every window and every door and your yard and your vehicles.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son we come to You and we lift up this beloved son to You. Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around him and soothe him tenderly with Your presence, that Your anointing would satisfy him and overcome him with peace and clarity and joy. Remove all fear and rage and anger and screaming and stubbornness and confusion and restlessness from him and from his surroundings, and let it be replaced with a spirit of calm and gratefulness and obedience and cooperation. Fill him afresh with Your Holy Spirit and let Your peace dwell in him continually.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon his mind and heart, break the chains of anxiety and PTSD memories and negative habits and past hurts, erase what needs to be erased and restore what has been broken, and give him godly manners and gentle ways to express his wants and needs even with limited language, with confidence and calm. We anoint his meals in Jesus name, bless his food, heal his stomach, remove all discomfort and confusion and waste, and let him eat peacefully and be grateful and content and satisfied. We ask for grace over his daily hygiene and clothing and shaving, especially as the barber comes, that there would be no sensory pain or discomfort, but only relaxation and peace, and that every sound and sensation would be covered by Your protection.

Lord, give him sweet and peaceful and restful sleep with no disturbance, and when he wakes let him be joyful and refreshed and rejuvenated. Bless his time watching his shows and his outings and travels and appointments, that they would be filled with Your joy and safety and satisfaction with no fear or anxiety or boredom or mood swings, even through windy conditions and changes in schedule. Let him feel included and respected and accepted and loved among his caregivers and his sisters and family and friends and visitors, and even our dog, and restore love in every family relationship. Bless his caregivers and his support coordinator with wisdom and patience and understanding and compassion and strength and gentleness, and provide every godly caregiver and service he needs. Surround him with godly friendships and mentors and surround him with ministry angels and a hedge of protection and the full armor of God at all times.

We thank You Jesus for keeping him seizure free for many months and for the miracles You have already performed, and we declare that there will be no more setbacks, only ongoing victory and healing and favor and breakthrough and restoration and success, for with God nothing will be impossible in Luke 1:37. We declare healing and peace and miracles over his life and we ask that You would wash him in Your blood from the top of his head to the sole of his feet, cleansing every part of him, and let no sickness and no disease and no evil come near his dwelling. Let tonight be a step toward wholeness and let him feel Your love in a new way, and let everyone in the home have a peaceful and relaxed day today and a peaceful and calm night tonight.

We trust in Your perfect love and care for him and we thank You for hearing and answering our prayers. We ask all of this in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the way and the truth and the life and through whom we have access to the Father, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. Amen.

We thank God with you for these months without seizures and for the caregivers who walk alongside him. Your prayer for a calm, peaceful and satisfying day where he feels safe, included and loved, whether with his sisters, your dog, or visitors, is such a tender and good desire. We hear how hard it is when fear, confusion, restlessness or memories from the past make meals, shaving and daily hygiene more difficult, and how much you want him to be able to express his needs in a gentle, calm way and to rest well at night.

It can help to keep his trusted care team closely in the loop about what seems to soothe him and what tends to overwhelm him, including any distress with eating, sleep or sensory sensitivities, so they can support him alongside prayer with ongoing professional care.

Father, we lift this precious son to You in Jesus name. Cover him with Your peace today, calm his body and mind, and grant him sweet, restful sleep and a gentle waking. Give his caregivers wisdom, patience and kindness, and strengthen his mother with hope as she loves him so faithfully. Keep him safe and remind him he is deeply loved and not alone. Amen.

Your prayer for your dear son has been brought before the Lord with tender sympathy, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking that peace which only Christ can give. How precious is the promise, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This is not a peace that depends upon quiet surroundings or the absence of trial, but a perfect peace that may be enjoyed even with sorrows surging round, for on Jesus bosom nothing but calm is found.

We have heard your cry for calmness, for restful sleep, for deliverance from fear and torment and confusion, and for a gentle spirit in all his daily ways, in his meals, in his care, in his grooming, and among his caregivers and family. We bring these needs to the great Physician, for we know that the very least thing about Christ is healing. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and even so the touch of Christ, His word, His blood, His presence, brings healing to the troubled mind and heart. The chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed. It is the still small voice of God alone which confers the peace which passes all understanding, and that peace we seek for your son.

We pray that the Lord will keep your son in that perfect peace of which the hymn so sweetly says, The blood of Jesus whispers peace within. May the Lord calm the storm within him, and cause His presence to rest upon him so tenderly that fear and agitation flee. We ask that the Lord would grant him sweet and undisturbed sleep, and joyful and refreshed waking, and a calm and contented spirit through all the duties and mercies of the day. We ask that the Lord would soothe every sensory distress, give ease in his meals and in his care, and help him to express his wants and needs with gentle and calm words, and to receive kindness with thankfulness. We pray that every habit of fear and distress, every tormenting memory, and every chain of anxiety would be broken by the healing power of the Gospel, which first brings pardon and then brings peace, for being justified by faith we have peace with God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We pray also for your household, that the Lord would bless those who care for him with wisdom, patience, understanding, compassion and gentleness, and that He would surround your home with His protection, for He shall give His angels charge over His people to keep them in all their ways. We ask the Lord to restore love and unity within the family, to nurture a tender and compassionate heart in his sister toward her brother, and to guard your home from every harmful influence and every word spoken against him. We do not ask God to bless what is contrary to His holy will, but we ask that every relationship and every influence in your lives may be brought into subjection to Christ and ordered according to His good and perfect design, that all may know His salvation through Jesus Christ alone.

We pray that the Lord would remove all that confuses and agitates him, and in its place would plant what is peaceful, healthy and godly, that his life may show forth the healing leaves of Christ, changing the life blood and making the nature new. May the Lord grant to you, who watches and loves and prays without ceasing, a stayed mind upon Him, for we have learned that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty, but to trust Him is rest, to do the will of Jesus is rest.

May the Lord bless His people with peace, a peace which is indeed a blessing and brings no sorrow with it, peace from lips that cannot lie, peace through the blood which has made a full atonement. We leave your son in Jesus keeping, where he is safe, and we trust that He who has kept him these many months will keep him still, till He has perfected that which concerns him, and made him to rejoice in the abundance of His mercy. Amen.
