We join you with thanksgiving for what the Lord has already done and we stand with you in agreement for your son tonight. We have witnessed with you how faithfully Jesus has answered these past nights when you cried out, and we give Him all the glory for the calm and relaxation you have seen. It is a beautiful testimony that where two or three are gathered together in His name, there He is in the middle of them, Matthew 18:20, and that He hears the prayers of a faithful parent who seeks Him for her child.

We understand how heavy your heart feels when you see your precious son tormented, anxious, moody, restless, confused, rigid and agitated, especially around meals and sleep. We do not take lightly what you discern as spiritual attacks, for the Word tells us our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and spiritual forces, Ephesians 6:12. Yet we also cling to the promise that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7.

We speak the peace of God over your son tonight. The Lord promises, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. We ask the Lord to guard his mind and his body, to quiet every vocal stemming, every rigid habit, every scream and frustration, and to replace it with gentleness, clarity and satisfaction. We pray as the psalmist prayed, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety, Psalm 4:8. We ask that he will lie down without torment, sleep without disturbance and wake refreshed, full of joy and strength.

We rebuke in the name of Jesus Christ every spirit of fear, torment, anxiety, confusion and unrest that would seek to steal his peace and satisfaction, and we command every negative habit, rigidity and discomfort that is not of the Lord to bow to the name of Jesus and depart from him and never return. We declare that no weapon that is formed against him will prevail, Isaiah 54:17, and that He will give His angels charge over him, to guard him in all his ways, Psalm 91:11. We pray that you will continue to clothe him in the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, Ephesians 6:11, Ephesians 6:14-17.

We lift up his meals, his activities, his schedule, his caregivers and his relationships. We pray that the Lord will bless his food and teach him to receive it with gratefulness and contentment, that he will be satisfied and thankful and gentle at the table. We pray that he will focus with ease on his activities and find joy and satisfaction in them, adjusting well to his new schedule with a calm and obedient spirit. We pray for a special anointing and restoration upon his relationship with his sisters, that every obstacle, toxic influence, disrespect, division and isolation be removed and that their beautiful unbreakable bond of unconditional love be strengthened and guarded. We ask the Lord to remove every negative influence that looks down upon his disabilities and to surround your family with godly friendships, mentors and dedicated caregivers who will patiently and gently bring out the best in him.

We pray for healing in his mind, body and spirit, for you have rightly claimed that by His stripes we are healed, Isaiah 53:5, and we ask the Lord to bring restoration over autism, PTSD, anxiety and sensory challenges, removing every source of physical distress, discomfort and pain. We thank God that your son is fearfully and wonderfully made, Psalm 139:14, and that Jesus loves the children and draws them close to Himself, Matthew 19:14. We ask that he be filled with the Holy Spirit and saturated with peace, joy, gratefulness, gentleness, clarity and favor in every aspect of his life.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to You and by which we are saved, Acts 4:12, John 14:6. We thank You for this mother’s faithful love and for the victories You have already given. We ask tonight for a peaceful, quiet, calm, obedient and satisfying night for her son. Let no setback remain, but let breakthrough, healing, peace, joy and victory reign. Let Your hedge of protection surround him and let not one thing enter his life and body unless it goes through the blood of Jesus Christ. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, let ministering angels encamp around him, and let Your bright light dispel every shadow of darkness in his home. Grant wisdom, patience and discernment to his mother, his family and his caregivers, James 1:5, that they may do all the right things to help him be the best he can be. We declare that setbacks are replaced with blessings and that favor surrounds him like a shield, Psalm 5:12. We thank You that You are working even now and that Your peace will guard this household today and every day. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer and in the Word, trusting that He who began a good work in your son will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ, Philippians 1:6. Do not be afraid, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go, Isaiah 41:10, Joshua 1:9. Keep bringing every meal, every night, every meeting and every service before Him, and rest in His promise to give wisdom generously to those who ask. We stand with you, believing for no more torment but only for the Lord’s abiding calm, satisfaction and unbreakable family unity.

Thank you for letting us pray with you again for your son. We hear how much you love him and how closely you watch over him, and how encouraging it has been on the nights when he settled and rested more peacefully. It makes sense that these recent evenings of restlessness, anxiety and rigidity around meals feel so heavy, especially after weeks that were going well.

We are standing with you for a calm and quiet night tonight, and for his body and mind to find rest. When sleep is broken and days are full of big feelings and sensory strain, everything can feel more overwhelming for him and for you. Sometimes a small change in routine, stimulation, or even tiredness can make sleep and meals harder for a while, and that does not erase the good progress he has made.

One gentle step that may help you and his caregivers is to keep a brief simple note of bedtime, wake time, meals and what seemed soothing or unsettling. Sharing that with his caregivers and care team alongside prayer can help you notice patterns and make steady adjustments together. If sleeplessness or distress continues, we encourage you to keep his doctors and therapists in the loop as you pray.

Father, we lift this precious son to You tonight. Surround him with Your peace and keep him safe as he sleeps. Calm his body and mind, ease his agitation and confusion, and help him to eat and rest with contentment. Give his mother wisdom and strength, bless his sisters and caregivers with patience and unity, and fill this home with Your quiet, steady presence. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is good to hear your testimony that the Lord has faithfully answered prayer and given your son calmer nights, and we have joined you again in prayer for his peace this night. Where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst, and He hears the cries of a parent for a child.

We are told in the Scriptures that sleep is the gift of God, for so He giveth His beloved sleep. It is not merely that we lie down and compose ourselves, but the Lord Himself must grant rest. There is a sleep of contentment and a sleep of security which the believer enjoys, not because troubles cease, but because the soul rests under the watch of a faithful Keeper. We have asked that He would grant such sleep to your son tonight, quiet and calm, free from torment and confusion, and that he may wake refreshed and satisfied.

You describe well the heaviness of these setbacks, the anxiety and restlessness, the rigidity and distress around meals, the vocal sounds and agitation that steal his peace. These trials are very real, and they weigh upon you as you love and care for him. The Word reminds us that anxiety itself brings no grist to the mill and no meal to the barrel, and that it unfits us to meet the difficulty. To be anxious profits nothing, but to cast our care upon Him who careth for us is wisdom. If you know yourself saved in Christ, you may bring every burden to Him, and if any soul has not yet found the Saviour, let him give no sleep to his eyes till he has sought Him, for pardon and healing are found together in Jesus.

Christ is the great Physician, and His healing power is abundant. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ has healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and by His stripes we are healed. We have prayed for healing in body and mind and spirit for your son, for relief from distress and pain, for calm in his schedule and routines, for peace at his meals that he may eat with gratefulness and be satisfied, and for clarity and gentleness in his communication.

We have also prayed as you asked, that the Lord would clothe him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, and that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, but that ministering angels may encamp around him. We have asked that every spirit of fear and torment and confusion would depart at the name of Jesus, and that he would be filled with the Holy Spirit, with peace and joy that surpasses understanding.

We have remembered before the Lord his caregivers, his sisters, and your whole household. We have asked for wisdom and patience and discernment for you and for those who serve him, for godly and dedicated helpers who will bring out the best in him with calm and kindness, and for a special restoration of love and unity between him and his sisters, that their bond would be kept in compassion and unbroken affection, and that any division or harmful influence would be removed or redirected.

There will be lame ones in the flock, and the Lord calls the rest to make straight paths for their feet, so that what is lame may not be turned aside but rather be healed. He went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed, and He is still able to heal though He is not always pleased to heal in the same measure at every moment. Continue to look to Him, to teach His Word and to trust His healing leaves, knowing that whether He grants immediate relief or sustaining grace, His love does not fail.

We thank God for the peaceful days He has already given and we continue to ask for breakthrough and not setback, for joy in activities and outings and friendships, for favor that surrounds him like a shield, and for rest upon your home. May the Lord guide you with wisdom to do all the right things to help him be the best he can be, and may His bright light dispel every shadow of darkness in your dwelling.

We commit your son and your family to the pardoning and healing hand of our Lord Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.
