We join with you in lifting your precious son before the throne of grace tonight, and we thank you for your faithful love and persistence in prayer for him. We have seen with you how the Lord has granted him calmer and more peaceful days, and we give thanks for those victories, trusting that He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it.

We hear your concern for the restlessness, anxiety, rigidity, vocal stemming, confusion and agitation that has returned in these last few nights, especially around meals and sleep, and we agree with you that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces, and that Jesus Christ has all authority to bring peace. We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, anxiety, confusion and unrest that would seek to disturb his mind, body and spirit, and we command it to bow to the name of Jesus and depart from him and not return.

We pray together for him now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we lift this beloved son to You. We thank You for his life, for his gifts, and for the work You are doing in him. We ask that You saturate him with Your Holy Spirit and let Your perfect peace guard his heart and mind. Your Word says, Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We ask for that surpassing peace to rest upon him tonight and every night.

Lord, we pray that he will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone make us dwell in safety Psalm 4:8. Remove all that causes distress, sensory overload, physical discomfort or pain, and let him eat his meals with peace, gratefulness and satisfaction, and sleep without disturbance and wake refreshed and joyful. We declare over him that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Let fear and torment be replaced with power, love and a sound mind.

We pray for healing in his mind, body and spirit. By Your stripes he is healed Isaiah 53:5. We ask for Your healing touch upon every area where autism, anxiety and sensory challenges affect him, bringing clarity where there is confusion, calm where there is rigidity and agitation, and gentle, clear communication where there have been negative habits to express his needs. Give him grace to adjust with ease to his new schedule, to find joy and satisfaction in his activities, and to be content and thankful in all things.

Father, we ask for Your hedge of protection around him, that no weapon that is formed against him will prevail Isaiah 54:17, and we clothe him in the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word Ephesians 6:10-18. Let Your angels encamp around him and guard him in all his ways Psalm 91:11.

We also lift his relationships to You. We ask for a special anointing and restoration upon his bond with his sisters, removing every negative influence, division and isolation. Fill their relationships with unconditional love, compassion and unity. Remove or redirect every toxic influence that looks down upon his disabilities or seeks to cause havoc and disrespect in the family. Bless his caregivers with wisdom, patience and discernment, and guide them to bring out the best in him in a gentle, calm and caring manner. We pray for godly caregivers, mentors and friends who will uplift and encourage him, and that he will always feel included, respected, accepted and loved. Bless his outings, his independent activities, his travel and his friendships with Your peace and joy.

We pray for you, his mother, and for your whole household. We ask that You fill you with wisdom and knowledge to do all the right things to help him be the best he can be, and that You give you strength and rest. Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. We thank You that where two or three are gathered together in Your name, there You are in the middle of them Matthew 18:20, and we stand together in agreement believing You hear and will answer according to Your perfect will. We declare that setbacks are replaced with breakthrough, and that Your favor surrounds him like a shield Psalm 5:12.

We praise You, Lord, for the peace, contentment and victory You are pouring out even now, and we trust that You will keep him in perfect peace as his mind stays on You Isaiah 26:3. Let not one thing enter his life or body unless it goes through the blood of Jesus Christ, and let Your presence fill your home with calm, joy and safety.

We thank You for Your faithful answers and we declare in faith that these setbacks will be gone and that You will continue to lead this family in Your light and love. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

We are holding you and your son in prayer tonight, and we hear how much love and attentiveness you bring to him. Seeing several peaceful weeks and then a stretch of restless, agitated nights with difficult meals and trouble falling asleep can feel so discouraging, especially when you have been so faithful to pray and to care for every detail of his routine.

It makes sense that you would feel the weight of this so deeply. When anxiety and sensory overload build, the whole body and mind can stay on alert, which often shows up as restlessness, rigidity, irritability and broken sleep. A setback does not erase the progress you have seen, it often just means his system is overwhelmed right now and needs extra steadiness and calm.

One thing that has helped other families in similar seasons is keeping the evening as predictable and quiet as possible, noting what seemed to help during those calmer weeks and sharing that brief note with his caregivers so everyone can respond in the same gentle way. Alongside prayer, if the agitation, sleep difficulty or distress around meals continues, it is wise to keep his doctor or care team updated so they can support you too.

Jesus, we lift this dear boy to You tonight. Cover him with Your peace, ease his body and mind, and grant him restful sleep and peaceful meals. Bring calm to his activities and gentleness to his communication, and mend and protect the bond with his sisters. Give his mother and caregivers wisdom, patience and unity as they care for him, and fill this home with Your quiet presence tonight. In Jesus' name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your earnest cry for your son has been heard, and we join you in bringing him before the throne of grace. To see a child tormented and restless, anxious and agitated, rigid and unable to sleep, is a heavy trial for a loving parent, and the setbacks after weeks of greater calm must weigh sorely upon you. Yet you have done well to turn at once to prayer, and to plead the blood of Jesus Christ over his life, for there is no other refuge so sure.

Sleep is the gift of God. We think that we lay our heads upon our pillows and compose ourselves and therefore we sleep, but it is not so. The Lord must give it, for so he giveth his beloved sleep. There is a sleep of contentment which the Christian enjoys, when the soul is satisfied in Christ, and there is a sleep of security, when the heart rests under the shadow of his wing. We will pray that the Lord will grant this to your son tonight, a peaceful, quiet and calm night, and that he will lie down and sleep without disturbance and wake refreshed, full of joy and strength. May the Lord who watches over his beloved grant him that peculiar sleep which is the portion of those kept by his power.

Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. You carry a great burden for your son, for his meals, his schedule, his caregivers, his communion with his sisters, and for his daily peace. Cast that burden upon the Lord, for he careth for you and for your child. Tell Jesus all that troubles you, and leave it there. Where two or three are gathered in his name, there is he in the midst, and he hears according to his perfect will.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and his salvation. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and his very leaves are full of healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed upon the Lord's people. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy he said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, and pardon and healing were one. We look to that same Saviour now for healing in mind, body and spirit, trusting that by his stripes we are healed, and that he is able to calm the storm within and give clarity where there is confusion, gentleness where there is rigidity, and peace where there is torment.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, we bring this dear child before thee. Thou knowest his frame, his needs, his distress, his autism and sensory trials, his anxieties and fears. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over him, that nothing may enter his life and body except it pass through thy gracious hand. Surround him with thy hedge of protection, let no weapon formed against him prosper, and clothe him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is thy Word. Let ministering angels encamp around him and guard him in all his ways.

Grant him, we beseech thee, a calm and obedient night, free from torment, screaming, agitation and fear. Give him sleep, for thou givest thy beloved sleep. Bless his meals, that he may eat in peace with thankfulness and be satisfied. Quiet every negative habit and rigid way, and give him gentle and confident communication. Fill him with thy Holy Spirit, with peace and joy and contentment that surpasses all understanding. Remove every spirit of fear and confusion and let it bow to the name of Jesus and depart.

We ask also for restoration in his household. Anoint his relationship with his sisters, remove all division, disrespect and isolation, and restore an unbreakable bond of love. Bless his caregivers, his activities, his outings and friendships with thy peace and favor. Grant to his mother and to all who care for him wisdom, patience and discernment to do all the right things to help him be the best he can be, and provide dedicated, godly helpers who will bring out the best in him with calm and kindness. Guide all meetings and services appointed for his good, that they may bring forth breakthrough and not setback.

We thank thee for every victory already granted, for calmer days thou hast given in answer to prayer. Continue thy healing work, we pray, and let setbacks be replaced with blessings. We ask all this not because we are worthy, but through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation and healing, and in whose name we trust. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for your son has been heard and we join you in lifting him before the Lord with thanksgiving for the calmer days you have seen and with trust for this night.

We pray for a peaceful, quiet and calm night for him. God in His mercy has given sleep as a haven and a medicine for our weariness, and He Himself neither slumbers nor sleeps but keeps watch over His children. We ask the Lord to guard your son as he sleeps, to quiet what is restless and confused, to calm anxiety, agitation and rigidity, and to grant him deep and undisturbed rest so he may wake refreshed and at peace. We ask that every spirit of fear, torment and confusion would depart at the name of Jesus and that he would be filled with the Holy Spirit, with peace and joy that surpasses understanding.

We pray for healing in his mind, body and spirit. By the stripes of Jesus he is healed. We bring before the Lord his needs related to autism, sensory challenges, anxiety and past trauma, and every source of physical discomfort and pain. We pray that his meals would be peaceful, that he would eat with gratefulness and contentment, that his activities and routines would be calm and satisfying, and that he would be able to focus, communicate with gentleness and confidence, and adjust to his new schedule without negative habits or outbursts. We ask the Lord to remove screaming, restlessness and frustration and to clothe him with gentleness, clarity and favor in every part of his life.

We pray for your family. We ask the Lord to put His hedge of protection around your son, to clothe him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, and to command His angels to encamp around him. We pray for restoration of the beautiful bond between him and his sisters, that any division, disrespect or isolation would be removed and replaced with unconditional love and unity. We pray for you, for his caregivers and teachers, that God would give wisdom, patience and discernment to do what is right for him, and that He would provide dedicated, godly caregivers and mentors who will bring out the best in him with calm and kindness. We ask that nothing would enter his life except what passes through the blood of Jesus Christ.

We thank the Lord for the victories He has already given and we stand together in agreement believing that where two or three are gathered in His name He is present. May the Lord bless your son and your whole household with His presence, keep you in perfect peace, guide your travels and daily activities, and let His light dispel every shadow. We declare breakthrough, healing and restoration over your son's health, habits, communication, meals and relationships, and we pray that setbacks would be replaced with lasting peace and joy.

In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and Savior we pray, Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart and your love for your son. Your faithful prayers for him are precious, and it is encouraging to hear that you have seen calmer seasons in recent weeks. It is understandable that these recent restless nights, with anxiety, rigidity, confusion and difficulty with meals and sleep, feel discouraging, and it is right to bring them again to the Lord.

Scripture reminds us that God both sees and hears the affliction of His people. Just as He saw and heard in the days of Jacob and Leah, He sees your family now and He hears your cries for your son. You are not alone in this, and your son is not forgotten. The Lord knows him by name and loves him deeply.

We also remember that our only access to the Father is through His Son. The Bible teaches that whoever has the Son has life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him. Jesus is not a created being but the only begotten Son of God, given because God so loved the world. When Jesus asked the man born blind, do you believe on the Son of God, and that man believed, his life was transformed. Our hope for peace, healing and protection rests entirely on Jesus and what He has done for us. By His wounds we are healed, as Isaiah 53:5 declares, and it is through the blood of Jesus that we can ask for a hedge of protection around your son, that nothing would touch his life or body apart from passing through the grace and authority of Christ.

The heart of the Father toward His children is beautifully pictured in the story of the son who left home and wasted his inheritance. While he was still far off and in a filthy condition, his father ran to him, embraced him and covered him with love, restoring him fully as a son and not as a servant. That is how God loves your son, not at a distance, but with a running, embracing love. Even when there are setbacks, His love does not waver. Scripture also teaches that the Lord corrects those He loves, as a father corrects the son in whom he delights, and that this discipline is itself a sign that we belong to Him. He is patiently forming and caring for your son, and He is also giving you wisdom as a parent to guide him with love and truth.

Like Jacob who lay down exhausted and dreamed of a ladder set on the earth reaching to heaven with the Lord standing above it, we are reminded that heaven is not closed to us. God is present, watching over His people, and He has opened the way between heaven and earth through His Son. You can rest in that presence tonight.

So we join you in prayer, agreeing together as Jesus promised that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this precious son to You. We ask You to fill him with Your Holy Spirit and to saturate him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, with joy, gentleness, clarity and contentment. Remove every spirit of fear, torment, anxiety and confusion, and cause all that is not of You to bow to the name of Jesus and depart. Clothe him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word. Surround him with Your hedge of protection, let no weapon formed against him prosper, and command Your angels to encamp around him and guard him in all his ways.

We pray for healing in his mind, body and spirit. Touch his sensory needs, calm his anxiety, ease any physical distress or pain, and help him to eat his meals in peace with gratefulness and satisfaction. Grant him restful sleep, that he would lie down without disturbance and wake refreshed and strengthened. Calm his schedule, his routines and his activities, and help him to adjust with ease, to communicate with gentleness and confidence, and to find joy in what You place before him.

We pray for his relationships, especially with his sisters. Restore and strengthen their bond with unconditional love, compassion and unity, and remove any division, disrespect or negative influence that would bring isolation or strife. Provide godly friendships and mentors who will encourage him, and bless his caregivers, outings and friendships with Your peace and favor. Give wisdom, patience and discernment to his mother, his family and all who care for him, and guide every meeting and decision concerning his care and services, that they would lead to true help and growth.

We thank You for the victories You have already given and for the more peaceful days You have granted. We ask now for continued breakthrough, restoration and healing, trusting Your perfect will and timing. May Your light fill this home, dispelling all darkness, and may Your presence bring calm, safety and joy today and every night to come. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
