We join with you in lifting up your precious son tonight and we thank you for sharing your heart so faithfully for him. We hear your longing for a peaceful, quiet, calm and obedient night for him, free from torment, anxiety, restlessness, confusion and agitation, and we stand together with you believing that God hears and answers. We rejoice with you that you have already seen him become calmer as we have prayed, and we give thanks to the Lord for His mercy and for the victories He has already won in his life.

Scripture reminds us that God is the giver of true peace and rest. We are told in Philippians 4:6-7 not to be anxious in anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Again in Psalm 4:8 we read, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. And in 2 Timothy 1:7 we are assured, For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We also cling to Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We know your son is fearfully and wonderfully made and that children are a gift from Yahweh as Psalm 127:3 tells us. His disabilities, his struggles with meals, sleep, rigidity, sensory challenges and anxiety do not diminish his value in God’s eyes, and we trust that the Lord sees him, loves him deeply, and desires to fill him with His peace and joy.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to You and there is no other name by which we are saved. We lift up this beloved son to You right now. We ask You to saturate him with Your Holy Spirit and to surround him with Your hedge of protection. We pray that no weapon formed against him shall prosper and that no thing would enter his life or body unless it goes through the blood of Jesus Christ. We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, anxiety, confusion, frustration and agitation that would seek to disrupt his peace, and we command every negative habit, rigidity and discomfort not of You to bow to the name of Jesus and depart from him forever.

Lord, grant him tonight a peaceful, quiet, calm and satisfying night. Let him eat his meals in peace with gratefulness and gentleness, and let him be satisfied and thankful. Remove all torment and restlessness from his meals and his activities. Help him to focus, to communicate with gentleness and confidence without negative habits, and to find contentment and joy in what You place before him. We speak Your calm over his schedule, his routines, his outings and his relationships. Give him deep, undisturbed sleep, and let him wake refreshed, full of Your joy and strength. By Your stripes he is healed according to Isaiah 53:5, and we ask for Your healing touch upon his mind, body and spirit, including every area affected by autism, PTSD, anxiety and sensory challenges. Take away all physical distress, discomfort and pain.

Father, we ask for a special anointing and restoration upon his relationship with his sisters. Remove every negative influence, division, isolation and disrespect that seeks to cause havoc in this family. Restore their beautiful unbreakable bond and fill it with unconditional love, compassion and unity. Bless his caregivers with wisdom, patience and discernment according to James 1:5, and anoint them to bring out the best in him in a gentle, calm and caring manner. Provide godly mentors and friends who will uplift him and help him feel included, respected, accepted and loved. We pray for Your favor and breakthrough over his services, his independent activities, his travels and his friendships, and that You would swiftly provide additional dedicated caregivers who will honor You.

Clothe him, Lord, with the full armor of God as described in Ephesians 6:10-18, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word. Let Your ministering angels encamp around him and guard him in all his ways as promised in Psalm 91:11. Fill his days and nights with Your peace, joy, gratefulness, clarity and favor, the kind that surpasses all understanding. Let setbacks be replaced forever with breakthrough, healing and victory, and let favor surround him like a shield.

We also lift up his mother and entire household. Grant wisdom and knowledge to do all the right things to help him be the best he can be. Fill this home with Your presence, Your calm, joy, peace and safety, and let Your bright light dispel every shadow of darkness. We thank You, Lord, for faithfully answering prayer and for granting more peaceful days. We trust You to continue Your good work and to complete it. We stand in agreement according to Matthew 18:20, knowing that where two or three are gathered in Your name, You are in our midst. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to rest in the Lord’s faithfulness. He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He watches over your son through the night. Keep bringing every care to Him with thanksgiving, speaking His Word over your son, and trusting that His perfect love casts out fear as 1 John 4:18 teaches. We will continue to stand with you, believing for no more setbacks but only breakthrough, healing, peace, joy and victory in his life for Your glory.

We are holding you and your son before the Lord tonight. We hear how much you carry, longing for him to be peaceful at meals, calm in his activities, and able to rest without fear or agitation, and how tenderly you watch over his relationships and his days with caregivers.

Thank you for telling us you have seen calmer days after prayer. We are grateful for every small victory and we continue to stand with you for more steady, peaceful rhythms to take hold.

Caring for a child with such complex needs day and night is exhausting, and it is good to keep leaning on the support around you. As you continue to pray, it can also help to keep a simple note of his sleep and mealtimes and what seems to help him feel safe and settled, so you can share it with his caregivers and his care team. They can walk with you in sorting through what is medical, sensory or routine related, alongside prayer, and help you adjust his schedule in a gentle way.

We also pray for you for rest and wisdom as you guide your family.

Father, we bring your son to You tonight in Jesus name. Surround him with Your peace, settle his body and mind for sleep, bless his meals and his time with those who care for him, and restore calm and kindness in his home. Give his mother strength, wisdom and deep rest as she trusts You. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

We have heard your earnest cry for your son and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, where two or three are gathered in His name and He is in the midst.

There is a hopeful sign in your prayer, for it is not a cold and formal asking but an intense desire. You cry, Oh that he might have peace, Oh that he might sleep, Oh that torment and confusion might depart. The Lord loves such intensity. As a father delights to give to his child who says, My father, I want to be obedient, I want to be holy, how much more will your heavenly Father delight to hear the mother who pleads for her beloved son. He knows the ploughing of anxious thought across your mind, for even if our children are near, we are concerned for their welfare, and your love has made you watchful in the night.

You ask especially for sleep, for a peaceful, calm and quiet night. Remember that sleep is the gift of God. We think we lay our heads upon our pillows and therefore we sleep, but it is not so. He bestows it, He rocks the cradle for us every night, He draws the curtain of darkness and says, Sleep, sleep, my child, I give thee sleep. So we pray that He will give His beloved sleep this night, not a restless tossing but the sleep of security, that your son may lie down without disturbance and wake refreshed and full of joy and strength. We ask the Lord to keep the great enemy from digging a Slough of Despond before his feet, and to rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, anxiety and confusion that would seek to disrupt his peace.

We pray also for healing, for you have well quoted that by His stripes we are healed. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and not only His fruit but His very leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, and pardon and healing were one. We ask the Lord to lay His pardoning and healing hand upon your son in body, mind and spirit, to ease every source of physical distress and sensory burden, to calm his spirit at mealtimes that he may eat in peace with gratefulness and gentleness, to give him clarity and contentment in his activities, and to help him to communicate with gentleness and confidence without resort to negative habits.

We pray for restoration in your household, that the beautiful bond between your son and his sisters may be strengthened, that every obstacle, toxic influence and division that causes havoc and isolation may be removed or redirected, and that your home may be filled with calm, joy and safety. We ask for wisdom, patience and discernment for you and for his caregivers, that the Lord would provide dedicated and godly helpers who will bring out the best in him in a calm and caring manner, and that He would give your son a gentle heart toward them. We pray that ministering angels may encamp around him and that he may be clothed with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, so that no weapon formed against him shall prosper and nothing shall enter his life except it go through the blood of Jesus Christ.

We thank God for the more peaceful days He has already granted, and we continue to ask that setbacks would be replaced by breakthrough, and that He would bless your son's health, habits, communication, meals, relationships and daily routines according to His perfect will. May the Lord fill him with His Holy Spirit and with peace that surpasses all understanding, and may He fill you also with strength to keep clearness of mind in this anxious hour, trusting not in your own power but in Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly.

We commend your son and your whole family to Him who is the great Physician and the Keeper of Israel who neither slumbers nor sleeps, praying that His bright light may dispel every shadow of darkness in your home. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and Saviour we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for your son has been heard with deep care, and I join you in bringing him before the Lord who loves him more than we can measure.

I thank God for the calmer days you have already seen, for every small victory is a sign of His mercy at work. He is the One who watches over His children without slumber, as the Psalm says, He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He is the One who gave night as a haven and sleep as a gift of nature to refresh our souls. When anxiety and restlessness press in, we remember that our safety depends not on our own strength alone, but on His guarding hand, and on our choosing to stand steadfast in Him.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come before You and lift up this precious son to Your throne of grace. You formed him and You know him fully. We ask that You surround him tonight with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Quiet his mind, calm his body, and still every torment, anxiety, confusion and agitation. Let no fear or distress have dominion over him, but let Your Holy Spirit fill him with gentleness, clarity, joy and satisfaction.

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his mind, body and spirit. Ease his sensory burdens, remove physical discomfort and pain, and grant him the gift of peaceful sleep, that he may lie down and rest without disturbance and wake refreshed. Bless his meals, that he may eat in peace with a thankful and gentle heart, free from rigidity and frustration. Bless his activities, his routines, his outings and his friendships, and help him to adjust with ease to his new schedule, to focus with confidence and to communicate without resorting to harmful habits.

We clothe him in prayer with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the feet fitted with the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word. Set Your hedge of protection around him and let Your angels encamp around him. Let no weapon formed against him prosper, and let every spirit of fear and confusion bow to the name of Jesus and depart.

Father, restore and strengthen the bond between him and his sisters. Remove every obstacle, division and negative influence that would bring isolation or disrespect into the home, and fill their relationships with unconditional love, compassion and unity. Pour out wisdom, patience and discernment upon his mother, his family and his caregivers. Provide dedicated, godly and gentle caregivers and mentors who will bring out the best in him with calm and kindness, and give his mother wisdom in every meeting and decision for his care.

We declare that You are able to do this, not by our merit but by Your mercy and power. You who did not disdain to be called Son of David that You might make us sons and daughters of God, look upon this family with compassion. Replace every setback with breakthrough, every sorrow with joy, and let his life be a light that reflects Your grace.

We thank You for the victories already won and we trust You for those yet to come, according to Your perfect will. Keep this household in Your calm, Your joy and Your safety, today and every day.

In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Your faithful prayers for your son are heard, and your love and perseverance for him are evident. It is encouraging to hear that you have already seen calmer moments in answer to prayer, and we join you in thanking God for those victories while we continue to ask for more.

Scripture shows us that God is a healer, but He does not work by a single pattern. Sometimes He touches and healing is felt in a moment. Sometimes He speaks a word from a distance. Sometimes healing is gradual, the only gradual healing recorded in the ministry of Jesus reminds us that gradual is still divine. And sometimes His healing works through the natural processes He Himself created in our bodies and minds, which are no less divine because they are natural. There are also healings of the heart and mind, where God brings peace to wounds and fears even while other struggles remain. We do not always understand why some are healed instantly and others walk a longer path, but we can trust His wisdom and compassion in every case.

It is also important to remember the man Jesus healed who was born blind. Some have thought God made him blind on purpose just to heal him later, but the text does not teach that. In the original language there is no punctuation to support that idea. God did not create your son's disabilities to put them on display. Rather, in a broken world, God is able to show His mercy, power, and comfort through bringing healing, peace, and grace into that very place. That man was also rejected and cast out by the religious leaders of his day after he was healed, which reminds us that Jesus understands what it is to be misunderstood or looked down upon, and He is especially near to those whom others isolate. He has always been most at home with ordinary, real people who need Him.

Growth in the life of faith and in the life of a child is often like seed sown in the ground. You do your part, you pray, you plant the word of God, you love and care, and then you go on living. You cannot always see what is happening beneath the surface, but God is working. First the blade appears, then the stalk, then the head, then the full grain. The work is often quiet and slow before it is seen. So do not be discouraged by setbacks. One difficult meal or restless night does not undo what God is doing.

We pray with you for your son's peace. We ask the Lord to lift fear, torment, anxiety, confusion, and agitation, and to clothe him with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask that his mind, body, and spirit would be strengthened, that he would eat with thankfulness and contentment, sleep without disturbance and wake refreshed, and find joy and satisfaction in his daily activities, routines, and relationships. We pray that every influence that would seek to harm him would have to bow to the name of Jesus and that nothing would touch his life except what passes through the blood of Christ.

We also pray as you have asked, that God would surround him with His protection, that no weapon formed against him would prosper, and that He would clothe him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God. We ask that His angels would encamp around him and guard him in all his ways.

We join you in praying for his relationships, that God would restore and strengthen the bond between him and his sisters with love, compassion, and unity, and would remove division, disrespect, and isolation from your home. We pray for you, for your family, and for his caregivers, that God would give wisdom, patience, discernment, and gentleness to know how best to help him, and that He would provide dedicated, godly helpers and friends who will bring out the best in him and make him feel included, respected, and loved. We pray that His showers of blessing would rest on your household and that your home would be filled with calm, joy, and safety as you dwell securely under His care.

Where two or three agree together in His name, He is present, and we stand in agreement with you that God hears and will answer according to His perfect will. By His wounds we have healing, and we trust Him for continued breakthrough, restoration, and victory in every area of your son's life, whether that comes in a moment or step by step. May the Lord fill him and your whole family with the Holy Spirit, with gentleness, clarity, gratefulness, and favor, and may He make your son a light that reflects His love and grace wherever he goes. In Jesus' name, amen.
