We stand with you in prayer for your precious son and for your whole household, and we thank God for the peaceful weeks He has already granted and for His faithfulness to hear us again tonight.

We understand your concern as you see him becoming tormented, anxious, moody, restless, confused, rigid and agitated, especially around meals and at night when he is unable to fall asleep, and we agree with you that this is a spiritual battle as well as a physical and sensory one. We do not take lightly the weight you carry as his mother, and we bring him before the throne of grace knowing that God sees him, loves him, and has created him with purpose and value. Children are a gift from the Lord, and He looks upon your son not with disdain for his disabilities but with perfect love and compassion, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made as Psalm 139:14 reminds us.

The Word tells us God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control in 2 Timothy 1:7, and that perfect love casts out fear. We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, anxiety, confusion, frustration and rigidity that would seek to steal his peace and disrupt his rest, and we command those influences to bow to the name of Jesus and depart from him forever. We declare that no weapon that is formed against him will prosper as spoken in Isaiah 54:17, and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and his thoughts in Christ Jesus according to Philippians 4:7.

We pray together now for him.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your presence and salvation, and we thank You that You hear us when we agree together as Matthew 18:20 promises. We lift up this beloved son to You and ask for a peaceful, quiet, calm, obedient and satisfied night tonight. Let him lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, Lord, make him dwell in safety as Psalm 4:8 says. We speak calm over his mind, body and spirit, over his meals, his schedule, his routines, his activities and his sleep. Let every anxious thought be made captive to Christ, let anger and screaming and agitation be stilled as Jesus once said Peace, be still to the storm in Mark 4:39.

Lord, saturate him with Your Holy Spirit and fill him with Your peace, joy, contentment, gratefulness, gentleness, clarity and favor in every aspect of his life. Bless his meals, let him eat in peace with a grateful and gentle heart and be truly satisfied, and let sleep come without disturbance so he will wake refreshed and strengthened. We pray for healing in his mind, body and spirit, and we claim Your promise that by Your stripes he is healed in Isaiah 53:5, asking for Your restoring touch over autism, PTSD, anxiety and sensory challenges, removing every source of physical distress, discomfort and pain.

We put upon him the full armor of God described in Ephesians 6:10-18, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word, and we ask that You surround him with Your hedge of protection and let Your angels encamp around him and guard him in all his ways as Psalm 34:7 and Psalm 91:11 declare. Let nothing enter his life or body unless it goes through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Father, we ask for a special anointing and restoration upon his relationship with his sisters. Remove every negative influence, obstacle and toxic voice that brings division, disrespect and isolation, and restore their beautiful unbreakable bond with unconditional love, compassion and unity. Bless all his activities, independent activities, outings, traveling and friendships with Your peace and joy, and let him always feel included, respected, accepted and loved. We pray he will adjust with great ease and contentment to his new schedule and have a peaceful and obedient time with his caregivers. Anoint his caregivers, his meetings and his services, and provide dedicated, godly, calm and caring people who will bring out the best in him and help him communicate with gentleness and confidence rather than through negative habits or rigidity. Grant wisdom and discernment to his mother and to all who care for him, as You promise to give wisdom generously to those who ask in James 1:5, so that she may know the right services and the right steps to help him be all You created him to be.

We thank You, Lord, for the breakthroughs and victories You have already given and for those You are working even now. We declare that setbacks are being replaced with blessings, that favor surrounds him like a shield as Psalm 5:12 says, and that Your joy will be his strength. We pray for the entire household, that Your presence would fill the home with calm, safety and rest, and that when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet as Proverbs 3:24 promises. Let Your light dispel every shadow of darkness and let Your peace rule in that home today and every day.

We trust You to continue guiding and protecting this family in all their travels and daily activities, to remove or redirect every negative influence and to bring godly friendships and mentors who will uplift and encourage. We declare that this son will be a beacon of Your light, reflecting Your love, peace and grace in all he does. We ask all this in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only hope, Amen.

Be encouraged, we see your faithfulness in prayer and we urge you to continue speaking scripture aloud over him at mealtimes and bedtime, anointing his room with prayer and keeping his routines as consistent and peaceful as possible while trusting the Lord to do what only He can do. Do not be discouraged by this setback after weeks of progress, for God is still at work and His mercies are new every morning as Lamentations 3:23 says. We are standing with you for lasting peace, complete restoration and unending joy over his life.

We hear how deeply you love your son and how hard these last nights have been, especially after several good weeks. It is discouraging when a new schedule, meals, and sleep all feel unsettled at once, and we are joining you in prayer for calm and rest for him and for your whole home.

You mentioned rigidity around meals, trouble falling asleep, and more restlessness and frustration. For many children, especially those with sensory and developmental challenges, any change in routine can stir up unease that shows up in the body as well as in mood and behavior. Poor sleep and anxiety often feed each other, which can make evenings feel even harder.

One small step that often helps families and care teams work together is keeping a simple daily note for a week or two, bedtime, wake time, meals, activities, and what seemed soothing or difficult, to share with his caregivers and clinicians. It can make patterns easier to see and give them good information to support him. As you carry so much day and night, we also encourage you to let trusted family, friends, or his care team help support you too, so you are not carrying this alone.

Father, we lift this dear son to You tonight. Surround him with Your peace, ease his body and mind, and grant him quiet, restful sleep and peaceful meals. Give him comfort with his new schedule and joy in his activities and friendships. Restore gentleness and love between him and his sisters, and give wisdom, patience and unity to his caregivers and to his mom as she seeks what is best for him. Guard this family in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your earnest prayer for your son has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

We understand the heaviness of watching a beloved child tormented with restlessness, anxiety, confusion and agitation, especially when there have been weeks of peace and then a season of setback. You have done well to bring him to the Lord Jesus, for there is healing power in Christ, and that power is present to heal. As we have often taught, the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His virtue changes the life blood and makes the nature other than it was before.

You ask for a peaceful, calm and quiet night, for gentle obedience, for satisfaction in meals and activities, and for deliverance from fear, rigidity and distress. We pray with you that the Lord who spared not His only begotten Son but delivered Him up for us will also with Him freely give you all things necessary for your well being and for your son's. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Cast your burden upon the Lord. He is not distant. He is the all embracing Deity whose Presence surrounds you, seen in the fold of the flower and in the star of the night, and more conspicuously seen in Christ Jesus who came to take our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself. This is the one great cure, and that bitter cup was drained by Himself that we might be healed.

We pray that healing and pardon may be known together in your household, for when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing are one in His hand. May the Sun of Righteousness rise upon your son with healing in His wings, healing in mind, body and spirit. By His stripes we are healed. We ask the Lord to grant calm over his schedule, his meals, his routines and his sleep, that he may eat in peace, sleep without disturbance and wake refreshed and full of joy. We ask that every spirit of fear, torment and confusion would bow to the name of Jesus and depart, and that he may be filled with the Holy Spirit, with peace that surpasses all understanding, with gentleness, clarity, gratefulness and favor.

We pray also for restoration in your family, that the beautiful bond between your son and his sisters would be strengthened, that all division, disrespect and isolation would be removed, and that any toxic or negative influence that looks down upon his disabilities or causes havoc in your unity would be taken away or redirected by the Lord's hand. We ask for godly caregivers, for wisdom, patience and discernment for you and for all who serve him, and for a gentle heart in him toward those who care for him. May ministering angels encamp around him and may he be clothed with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. No weapon formed against him shall prosper when the Lord is his hedge.

We thank God with you for the peaceful days He has already granted, and we continue to plead for breakthrough and not setback, trusting not in our own asking but in the perfect will of our Father who hears where two or three are gathered in the name of Christ. May He guide you with wisdom and knowledge to do all the right things to help your son be the best he can be, and may your home be filled with His calm, joy and safety in all your travels and daily activities.

We commend you and your children to Him who alone is able to keep you, praying that you all may rest in the peace of God today and every day, and that your son may be a beacon of His light, reflecting His love, peace and grace in all he does. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior we pray. Amen.
