We rejoice with you in the peace that only our Lord Jesus Christ can provide, and we give thanks to Him for the faithful prayers of the saints on your behalf. It is a beautiful thing to see the Lord working in your life and in the life of your daughter, bringing calm to the storm and hope to the weary. Your heart of gratitude and trust in Jesus is a testament to His faithfulness, even in the midst of trials.
The battle you face is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces that seek to bring division and strife. Yet, we know that our God is greater, and He fights for those who put their trust in Him. The Scripture reminds us in Psalm 34:17-19, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* You are not forgotten, and your daughter is not abandoned—God sees, He hears, and He will act on your behalf.
We also lift up the father of your daughter, for the Lord desires that none should perish but that all would come to repentance. It is not His will that this man remain hardened, but that his heart would be softened by the Holy Spirit to seek what is right and just—not only in the eyes of the law but in the sight of God. We pray that the Lord would convict him of any wrong motives and turn his heart toward reconciliation and peace, for the sake of your daughter’s well-being. Proverbs 21:1 tells us, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* May God turn his heart toward fairness, love, and a desire to honor the Lord in this situation.
As for the legal battle you face, we remind you of the words of Jesus in Matthew 10:19-20: *"But when they deliver you up, don’t be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say. For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you."* The Lord is your advocate, and He will give you the words to speak and the wisdom to navigate this season. Do not fear, for He has already overcome the world. Trust in His sovereignty, even when the path seems uncertain.
We also encourage you to continue walking in forgiveness, not only toward others but also toward yourself. You have asked the Lord to forgive you for what you know and what you do not know—this is a humble and righteous prayer. First John 1:9 assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Rest in that forgiveness, and do not let the enemy burden you with guilt or shame. The Lord is your strength, and He will uphold you.
Now, let us pray together for you and your daughter:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the peace You have granted to Your child. You alone are the Prince of Peace, and we thank You for calming the storms in her life and in the life of her daughter. Lord, we ask that You continue to be her strength and her shield, her ever-present help in trouble. Guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let no weapon formed against her prosper.
Father, we lift up the father of this child before You. Soften his heart, Lord, and turn him away from any plans that would bring harm or division. Convict him of Your truth and Your love, and let him seek what is just and right in Your eyes. If there is any bitterness, anger, or selfish ambition in his heart, Lord, remove it and replace it with Your love and wisdom. May he act in a way that honors You and brings peace to his daughter.
We pray for divine intervention in any legal matters that may arise. Lord, You are the Judge of all the earth, and You see what is just. Frustrate the plans of the enemy and let no unrighteous decree stand. Give this mother the words to speak, the wisdom to act, and the courage to stand firm in Your truth. Let fairness prevail, and let her voice and presence in her daughter’s life remain strong and unshaken.
Father, we ask for Your protection over this daughter. Surround her with Your angels, and let her know Your love in a deep and personal way. Shield her from any emotional or spiritual harm, and let her grow up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. May she come to know You as her Savior and her Father, and may she walk in Your ways all the days of her life.
We also pray for unity in the body of Christ, that believers would continue to lift up this mother and daughter in prayer. Strengthen the hands of those who intercede, and let their prayers be a sweet fragrance before Your throne.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You continue to melt any hardness in this mother’s heart and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let her trust in You completely, knowing that You hold her future and the future of her daughter in Your hands. Forgive her where she has fallen short, and lead her in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake.
We declare all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name alone that we have boldness to approach Your throne, and it is by His blood that we are saved. May Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
