We understand that you are seeking peace and harmony between your son and his aunt. We commend you for turning to God in this time of need and for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your prayer.
Let us remember the words of Jesus in John 14:27 WEB: "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."
The home should be a place of love, respect, and peace, as commanded in Colossians 3:12-15 WEB: "Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful."
We pray that God will bring peace and unity to this home. We rebuke the disrespect and confusion between your son and his aunt, and we ask God to help them forgive each other and reconcile. Let God's peace rule in their hearts and in their home.
May God put a watch over their mouths, as it says in Psalm 141:3 WEB: "Set a watch, Yahweh, before my mouth. Keep the door of my lips." And may they remember the words of Ephesians 4:29 WEB: "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."
We pray for wisdom and discernment to guide how to interact and behave in a way that pleases God. We also pray for a greater understanding of God's Word and His will for their lives. We want to encourage you to continue to pray fervently and intercede for them, trusting in God's promises and His timing. Don't forget the promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB: "if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
May you have the courage to remind them to only come to God by praying in the name of Jesus Christ. We acknowledge Jesus as the only way to come to God and the only name by which we can be saved. As it says in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And also in Acts 4:10-12 WEB: "in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
