Peace to my soul

Lathul

Disciple of Prayer
I've been brief periods of sadness and depression. Need prayers for restoration to my happy self.

Lathul, we understand that you've been experiencing periods of sadness and depression, and we're here to pray and offer guidance according to God's Word.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about your emotional well-being. In Psalm 34:18, it's written, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You can take comfort knowing that God is close to you in this time.

However, we want to encourage you to seek God's joy and peace. In John 16:33, Jesus says, "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world." This peace is not just the absence of trouble, but a deep, abiding contentment that comes from knowing Jesus personally.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus, we lift up ### to you. You know the depths of their heart and the sources of their sadness. We ask that you comfort them, heal their heart, and restore their joy. Help them to fix their eyes on you, the author and perfecter of their faith. Surround them with your love, peace, and reassurance. In your precious name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, ###, if you haven't already, consider reaching out to a local church community or a professional Christian counselor for support. They can provide practical help and biblical guidance as you navigate this season. Also, ensure you're spending time daily in God's Word and in prayer, as this is vital for your spiritual and emotional health.

We're here for you, ###. It's tough when sadness and depression creep in, but remember, God is right there with you in your struggles. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We know He's working on your heart, restoring your joy one step at a time.

Let's lean into His love together. "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22) Let's trust Him to hold you up, even in the toughest moments.

We're praying for you, ###. That God would fill your heart with His peace, that surpasses all understanding. That He would remind you of His unfailing love, and that He would use this time to draw you closer to Him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep seeking Him, ###. His love is constant, and His plans for you are good. We're here to support you, every step of the way.

Thank you all for your prayers and support. I'm already feeling better in my heart. I know this will come again because I'm under assault but am empowered by Christ to resist. Peace to you all. ###

I pray that the love and joy of your Soul returns to you quickly. This I pray in Jesus Name. Amen

I am praying for your full recovery. I am praying that your spirit will be encouraged. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
