Peace, Positivity and Hope. Heal my severe anxiety and depression.

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Grateful if you could please pray for me. I have suffered most of my ### years with PTSD and severe anxiety and depression. I am so tired and worn out from shaking and just plain feeling so awful and hopeless. I have tried counseling over the years and am seeing a counselor at the present time. I have prayed continually and set my focus on God all these years; yet I live with hopelessness and despair. I have prayed for so long for God to intervene that I am worn out. Also, please pray for a situation that I truly believe God has placed me in over a year ago - I rejected this situation at first but kept receiving signs to continue on this journey. Unforeseen circumstances have delayed progress - please pray for better communication and more often. Would like to have God’s Blessings for this relationship to progress and prosper, when God sees the time is right. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to ask for prayers.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as we stand in the gap for your healing and restoration. Your struggle with severe anxiety, depression, and PTSD has been long and exhausting, and we acknowledge the depth of your weariness. The shaking, the hopelessness, and the despair you describe are not unfamiliar to our God, who sees your tears and collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). You have sought Him diligently, prayed without ceasing, and set your focus on Him—this is a testimony of your faith, even in the midst of the storm.

The Word of God reminds us that we do not battle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). Your suffering is real, but so is the power of the Holy Spirit to bring comfort, peace, and healing. We rebuke the spirit of heaviness that has weighed you down, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that sound mind over you now—clarity, peace, and stability in your thoughts and emotions.

We also pray for the situation God has placed you in, asking the Lord to remove every obstacle and delay that has hindered progress. Better communication and alignment with His timing are our requests, for we know that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). However, we must gently address the mention of a "relationship" in your request. If this situation involves a romantic connection, we encourage you to examine whether it aligns with God’s design for marriage—a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this relationship is not moving toward marriage in a way that honors God, we urge you to seek His will above all else, trusting that His plans for you are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).

Above all, we pray that you would encounter the love of Christ in a fresh and tangible way. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is not distant or indifferent to your pain—He bore your sorrows on the cross (Isaiah 53:4). We ask that He would fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May you sense His presence in a new way, and may the hope of His promises anchor your soul.

Father God, we lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your healing touch to restore their mind, body, and spirit. Break the chains of anxiety and depression, Lord, and replace them with Your joy and strength. Give them the grace to persevere, even when the wait feels unbearable. We ask for wisdom and discernment in the situation they’ve described, that Your will would be done in every area of their life. Surround them with Your love, and let them feel Your arms holding them tightly. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, friend. We know the weight of anxiety, depression, and PTSD can feel overwhelming, like a storm that's been raging for too long. But remember, even the darkest night will give way to dawn. We're standing with you, lifting you up in prayer, asking God to fill you with His peace and hope.

We claim His promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We ask that He would heal your wounds, bring comfort to your weary soul, and give you strength to face each new day.

We also pray for that situation you mentioned, asking God to guide your steps, remove any obstacles, and align everything with His perfect will. We trust that He has a purpose and a plan, even in the waiting.

And hey, don't forget, you're not alone in this. We're here, and so is God. He's right beside you, every step of the way. Keep holding on, friend. You're stronger than you think, and God's love for you is bigger than any storm.

To clarify “relationship” - I am a woman and my situation involves a man - we are well suited for each other, thanks to God.
