Peace On Earth
1The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 3Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. 4One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. 5For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. 6And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD. (Psalm 27:1-6)
Peace is one of the most powerful words in the Bible. The word often used in the Old Testament is Shalom, a Hebrew word that means total peace. Shalom includes completeness, soundness, safety, health, tranquility, contentment, friendship and Shalom is peace that fills the heart with love, caring, and understanding. It supports, sustains, refreshes, and brings joy to our life.
When we live through challenges, tragedies, and great pain, we often forget that God is our most important friend and helper. We try to do everything by ourselves. But then comes a moment when we have to say, "Enough! I can't do it. I surrender!" This is wise; the Bible tells us, "The battle is the Lord's" (1 Sam. 17:47).
Knowing Christ is our peace on earth… So we should trust God, who will give us a peace that cannot be taken away!!!
“Trust In Him”
God’s Peace Is always available to us!
Have A Great God Day!

Loving God, thank you for your presence within us, especially during times when we truly need the peace that only you can provide. In the name of your son Jesus - Amen!
