We understand that you are seeking peace of mind regarding a mistake you made at work. First, let's remember that we all fall short and make mistakes. Romans 3:23 says, For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.
However, it's important to remember that the path to peace comes through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. It's only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
If you haven't already, confess your mistake to God and, if appropriate, to those affected by it. Proverbs 28:13 tells us, He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.
Remember that God is faithful to forgive us when we come to Him with a repentant heart. 1 John 1:9 says, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We can be confident that when we repent and turn to God, He forgives us and helps us move forward.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother who is seeking peace of mind. Lord, we confess our sins to You, knowing that You are faithful and just to forgive us. Thank You for the grace and mercy that is new every day.
Help us to learn from this mistake. Let it be a stepping stone to maturity and wisdom. Cover our brother in Christ with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Fill his heart with the assurance of Your love and forgiveness.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
