Peace for my ###

Disciple of Prayer
Dear Team, Please pray for the peace in my family as my wife and mother are not in peace with each other and are constantly finding faults of each other which is hampering me and stability in my life. Me and my wife are trying for a child from past few months and seek prayer for blessing in our family. Please pray for my mother's health condition as she is suffering from psychological issues.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this family in prayer, seeking His divine intervention and peace. The strife between your wife and mother is deeply troubling, for Scripture commands us, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18). The constant fault-finding and tension in your home are not of God, for He calls us to "pursue peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord" (Hebrews 12:14). We must rebuke this spirit of division and discord in Jesus' name, for it is written, "God is not a God of confusion, but of peace" (1 Corinthians 14:33).

First, we must address the foundation of your plea. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for He Himself declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now, for eternal life is found in Him alone. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Now, let us pray for this family:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your peace to reign in this home. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of strife and division that has taken root between this wife and mother. Your Word declares that "a house divided against itself will not stand" (Mark 3:25), and so we ask You to unite their hearts in love and understanding. Soften their hearts, Father, and help them to see one another through Your eyes. Teach them to bear with one another in love, to be kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving, just as You in Christ forgave them (Ephesians 4:2-3).

We also lift up this couple as they seek to conceive a child. Lord, You are the giver of life, and we ask that You bless their union with the fruit of the womb. Your Word says, "Children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is His reward" (Psalm 127:3). We pray that You would open the womb and grant them the desire of their hearts, according to Your will. May this child be raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord, growing in wisdom and stature before You (Luke 2:52).

Father, we also bring before You the mother who is suffering from psychological issues. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You heal her mind and restore her soul. Your Word tells us that "by Your stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5), and so we claim that healing for her now. Surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and grant her the strength to endure this trial. Provide her with godly counsel and medical care that will aid in her recovery.

We also pray for this husband and father, Lord. The weight of this situation is heavy upon him, and we ask that You grant him wisdom and discernment as he leads his family. Help him to be a peacemaker, a man of patience and love, reflecting the character of Christ in all he does. Strengthen his marriage, Lord, and help him and his wife to keep their eyes fixed on You, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We declare that this home will be a place of peace, love, and unity. We break every chain of discord, bitterness, and unforgiveness in the name of Jesus. May Your Holy Spirit fill this family, guiding them into all truth and helping them to walk in Your ways. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

To this husband, we offer this encouragement: You are called to be the spiritual leader of your home, and it is your responsibility to foster an atmosphere of love, respect, and unity. Begin by examining your own heart, for Jesus said, "First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother’s eye" (Matthew 7:5). Are there ways in which you have contributed to the tension in your home? Repent of any sin and seek reconciliation with both your wife and your mother.

Encourage your wife and mother to spend time in God’s Word and in prayer, for it is through Scripture that they will find the wisdom and strength to overcome their differences. Suggest that they read passages together that speak of love, unity, and forgiveness, such as 1 Corinthians 13, Ephesians 4:1-32, and Colossians 3:12-17. Pray with them and for them, asking the Lord to soften their hearts and help them to see the value in one another.

If the psychological issues your mother is facing are severe, do not hesitate to seek professional Christian counseling. The Bible tells us that "without counsel, plans fail, but with many advisers, they succeed" (Proverbs 15:22). A godly counselor can provide tools and strategies to help her cope with her struggles while pointing her to the hope found in Christ.

Finally, remember that the trials you face are temporary, but the glory of God is eternal. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Your family is in our prayers, and we believe that God will bring peace, healing, and blessing to your home. Stand firm in faith, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

Oh brother, we’re lifting this family up with heavy hearts but even heavier hope, because we know the Lord doesn’t just hear us, He acts. There’s so much love wrapped up in this home, and we can see the longing in your words for peace to settle in like a quiet storm. Let’s pray that the Holy Spirit would step in and rewrite the narrative, turning every fault-finding into a moment of grace, every sharp word into a seed of reconciliation.

We’re asking the Lord to soften your mother’s heart first, that she might see the love in your wife’s eyes instead of the friction. And to your wife, Lord, help her to choose peace over pride, even when it’s hard. For you both, we’re praying for patience like Job’s, strong, unshaken, and full of faith. And to you, husband, we’re praying for wisdom to lead with gentleness, not pressure. Maybe this is the time to pull your family close for a meal, a prayer, and just listening, no fixing, no arguing, just love.

For the little one you’re waiting for, we’re declaring that God’s timing is perfect. He’s already preparing that child’s heart to bring joy, and we’re asking for His hand to open the door of blessing. And for your mom’s healing, we’re standing on Isaiah 53, every ounce of Christ’s sacrifice is for her too. Surround her with peace that guards her mind, and let the church love her well.

We’re declaring that this home will be a place where people choose unity, where every voice is heard with kindness, and where the Lord’s presence is the foundation. And we’re not just praying for peace, we’re praying for you to see it coming, to believe it’s already here in the Lord’s eyes. Stand firm, brother. The battle isn’t yours, it’s His. And we’re cheering you on.
