Biological brother and handling of parents' will-- holding on secretly to land (for ### years) remaining in a trust for all ### siblings (### have passed away). Finally told us it cannot be sold without everyone's approval although it was attempted. Praying for peace and salvation among all remaining living siblings, their spouses and their children so many hard feelings that have come with the love of money very painful. So thankful the Lord rescues us from this world system when we seek, serve, him, live for Him, salvation is never earned we could never boast, and God does not pick favorites. We join with you in bringing this painful family situation before the Lord and we thank you for your faithful heart in praying for others as well as for your own extended family. We hear the deep ache that has come from years of secrecy and mistrust over your parents' will and the land held in trust for all the siblings. What was meant to be a stewardship and blessing has become a source of hard feelings, and we grieve with you over the division this has caused among the remaining siblings, their spouses and children.
Scripture warns us plainly about where such strife often begins. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows 1 Timothy 6:10. We must lovingly rebuke both the love of money and any deceit or lack of transparency in handling what belongs to others. A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight Proverbs 11:1. To hold secretly for years what was entrusted for all, and to attempt to sell what required the approval of everyone, does not align with honesty and faithfulness. Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor Ephesians 4:25, and He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much Luke 16:10. We pray that your brother and all involved will be convicted to walk in openness, integrity and accountability, seeking wise and lawful counsel so that what is done is done in the light.
We also hear your heart for peace and for salvation and we rejoice in your understanding that salvation is never earned and that God does not show favoritism. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast Ephesians 2:8-9. God indeed shows no partiality Acts 10:34, Romans 2:11, but desires that all people would be saved and come to knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. We gently want to encourage you regarding the name by which we come to the Father. You spoke of the Lord rescuing us, and we affirm that rescue comes only through Jesus Christ. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is only through faith in Jesus that we have access to God and the peace and rescue you so beautifully described, and we pray that every sibling, spouse and child in your family will come to that saving faith.
We pray together for the healing of these relationships. We ask the Father in Jesus' name to let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7, and to let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts Colossians 3:15. We pray that you all may pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord Hebrews 12:14, and as much as it is possible, live peaceably with all men Romans 12:18. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God Matthew 5:9. We ask God to soften hearts to forgive as Christ forgave us, putting away all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, with all malice, and to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:31-32. Where wrong has been done, we pray for humble confession, repentance and restitution rather than continued strife, remembering that it is already a loss to have lawsuits among you 1 Corinthians 6:7.
We pray for provision and contentment to replace the love of money, that each heart would learn to be content with what you have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you Hebrews 13:5, and to keep your lives free from the love of money. We ask the Lord to rescue your family from this world system as you seek Him, to turn eyes from earthly inheritance to the imperishable inheritance kept in heaven, and to bring salvation to every living sibling, spouse and child who does not yet know Christ.
Father, we lift this family to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father, Jesus was surprised when someone asked Him to intervene regarding family inheritance, then told us to be on guard against greed, so I have two prayers for my sister... Both come from experience and the Scriptures that helped navigate through it, many prayers and the prayers of others... One situation is resolved, another is showing very ssllloooowwwww improvement and one has remained somewhat perplexing for years... But here it goes...
Father, we ask for True Christian Fellowship, 1 Jn 1:2-7, for abiding fruit of the Holy Sprit, Jn 15:7-8, Gal 5:22-23. May our company and prayers, sharing of The Word, John 17:17, lead to Healthy and prosperous Souls, 3 Jn 1:2, Renewed Minds Rom 12:2, Grace to Honor Parents and Siblings, Eph 6:2-4, Spiritual, Emotional, Temporal Support, Fruitfulness... 
Father, we humble ourselves as we bless You and forget none of Your benefits: Pardon of iniquities, Healing of All our diseases, the crowning our lives with tender-mercy and compassion, satisfying our years with good things so that our youth is renewed as the eagles, Ps 103:1-5. Forgive us, but we can't help but to ask for still more grace, James 4:6, to share The Word with these elderly loved ones as they've been enabled to hear, Mk 4:33, for grace to honor our familial relationships, Eph 6:1-3, the command with promises, it will go well with us and we'll live long in the land. Powerfully provide everything they need for life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3, emotional & bodily health and prosperity, even as their souls prosper, 3 Jn 1:2. We ask they (and we) GROW in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 2 Pet 3:18. Help them be established in the elementary principles of the Word of God, Heb 5:12, the foundational doctrines of the faith, Heb 6:1-3, and grow up into maturity, Eph 4:15, Col 1:10, culminating in love for You, others and fullness of the Holy Spirit's fruit, Phil 1:9-11; Gal 5:22-23. We therefore ask for Blessing, Honor, GRACE, Immediate HEALING, Ex 15:26, for our family members (and ourselves, kindly, Matt 7:7)... Help us receive FRESH TRUTHS day after day and night after night, Ps 19:1-2, Prov 2:6, and retain the Word, Ps 119:11, being effectual doers, not merely hearers, James 1:21-22. May this result in abiding communion with YOU, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, 1 John 1:1-3, bear fruit of true discipleship by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, making disciples, Matt 28:19-20, as Paul aspired to bear fruit among those beyond his sphere, Rom 1:13. Let us all taste the goodness of answered prayer by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7-8 and make our joy complete, John 15:24. Please "keep deception and lies far from us, give us neither poverty nor riches, but feed us what is sufficient for us," Prov 30:8. If riches increase, let us not set our heart on them, Ps 62:10, but rather be humble, know they are uncertain, and use them to be rich in good deeds, 1 Tim 6:17-18. Help us have contentment with godliness, 1 Tim 6:6, since the entire earth is the Lord's, as well as those who dwell in it, Ps 24:1. Keep us from covetousness, Ex 20:17, and help us not love the world or anything in it lest the love of The Father be forfeited, 1 Jn 2:15. Help us see that is antithetical to our highest and chief goal to love You with everything we have and evangelize the lost and rub off Your love on our neighbors, Mark 12:30-31. Keep us from the desire for other things that choke out the Word of God, Mark 4:18-19. May this result in abiding communion with YOU, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, 1 John 1:1-3, bear fruit of true discipleship by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, making disciples, Matt 28:19-20, as Paul aspired to bear fruit among those beyond his sphere, Rom 1:13. Let us all taste the goodness of answered prayer by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7-8 and make our joy complete, John 15:24. Ultimately let them and us be transformed by the renewing of our minds that we may prove what the will of God is, Rom 12:2, being renewed in the spirit of our minds, Eph 4:23, having the mind of Christ, 1 Cor 2:16, and our minds prepared for battle, 1 Peter 1:13. Dear Lord Jesus in Heaven, thank You for warning us to beware of greed at all times, Lk 12:15. The goal of the Bible's instruction is love from a purified heart, a sincere faith and a good conscience, 1 Tim 1:5. The love of money is a scary thing to observe, having witnessed the truth of 1 Tim 6:9-10. Please "keep deception and lies far from us, give us neither poverty nor riches, but feed us what is sufficient for us," Prov 30:8. If riches increase, let us not set our heart on them, Ps 62:10, but rather be humble, know they are uncertain, and use them to be rich in good deeds, 1 Tim 6:17-18. Help us have contentment with godliness, 1 Tim 6:6, since the entire earth is the Lord's, as well as those who dwell in it, Ps 24:1. Keep us from covetousness, Ex 20:17, and help us not love the world or anything in it lest the love of The Father be forfeited, 1 Jn 2:15. Help us see that is antithetical to our highest and chief goal to love You with everything we have and evangelize the lost and rub off Your love on our neighbors, Mark 12:30-31. Keep us from the desire for other things that choke out the Word of God, Mark 4:18-19. Keep us from temptation, Luke 11:4, sin, Zeph 3:13, 1 Cor 8:1, false believers, 2 Tim 3:5 and the evil one who blinds eyes, hearts minds and the world, Rev 12:9, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, 1 Jn 5:18. Your sorrow over this divided house has been laid before the Lord, and we have joined our prayers with yours for peace and for salvation to come to every branch of your family.
There is forgiveness with God, and it is to Him you must look for it. As you have so rightly said, salvation is never earned, we could never boast, for it is the free gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Look unto Him and be ye saved, for beside Him there is none else. He says, Look unto me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. The way is simple, to trust Him, to depend upon Him without fear for present and eternal salvation. Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. There God draws no limit, and neither should we. Though your sins be many, though one be the chief of sinners, there is forgiveness, complete and eternal, through the blood of Jesus which whispers peace within.
You ask for peace among brethren where the love of money has brought such painful hard feelings. We know how the heart is torn when an earthly inheritance becomes a snare. A piece of land held secretly in trust, and the strife that follows when it cannot be sold without the consent of all, shows how quickly we forget that the Lord greatly blesses His people with a better inheritance, one to possess which fadeth not away. The peace you seek is not to be found in the settlement of the will alone, but in minds stayed upon Christ. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. That perfect peace is a present possession, to be enjoyed even with sorrows surging round, even with loved ones far away and hearts divided, for in Jesus keeping we are safe.
And as you have received forgiveness, so you are called to give it. Our forgiveness from God in Christ is full and eternal, He will not remember our sins, He blots them out for His own sake. Therefore it becomes a joint stock of mutual forgiveness among the saints, forgiving one another even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Some of you have had so much manifest forgiveness that to forgive ought to be as natural as to open your hands. This does not make wrong to be right, nor does it call light darkness, but it asks that where there has been concealment or grasping, there be honest confession before God and before one another, and where there has been hurt, there be a readiness to forgive as Christ forgave.
We pray now for you and for all who remain, for your brother who has held this trust, for every living sibling and for their spouses and children, that the Lord would bring down every heart with a sense of need and then lift it up with the assurance that there is forgiveness. May He save each soul by His sovereign grace, not of works, lest any man should boast, and may He show that with Him there is no respect of persons, but whosoever looks to Christ shall live. May He deliver you all from the world system and the love of money which pierces through with many sorrows, and may He grant you that calm so deep that it is called the peace of God which passeth all understanding.
We will continue to bear you up before the mercy seat, that earthly struggles may soon cease in the light of Heaven's perfect peace, and that your family may know first forgiveness and then healing, to the praise of His glorious grace.
