We lift your father before the Lord with heavy hearts, asking for His mercy and healing touch. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, knowing that You are the Great Physician and the One who sustains us in our weakness. Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Lord, we ask for Your healing hand to be upon him, bringing relief from the pain of his compression fractures, easing the swelling in his legs, and restoring his digestive health. You are the God who sees every affliction and hears the cries of Your children—we trust in Your compassion and power to restore.
We also pray for humility to take root in his heart, Lord. The pride of self-sufficiency can be a heavy burden, especially as the body weakens with age. Your Word warns us in Proverbs 16:18, *"Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall."* Father, soften his heart to accept help when it is needed, not as a sign of weakness, but as an opportunity to lean on You and those You have placed in his life. Provide him with the resources—whether through family, friends, or medical care—to support him in his daily needs. Remind him that in his weakness, Your strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Lord, we ask that You surround him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let him feel Your presence in the midst of his pain, and grant him the strength to endure with patience. We also pray for wisdom for his caregivers and doctors, that they may be guided by Your hand in their efforts to help him. May Your will be done in his life, and may he come to know You more deeply through this trial, if he does not already walk with You. If he has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw him near, revealing the truth of the Gospel—that salvation is found in no other name but Jesus (Acts 4:12). May he confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that he may be saved (Romans 10:9).
We stand on Your promises, Lord, and declare that Your grace is sufficient for him. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
