peace and provision

Beloved of All
May today's last minute unexpected work appointment go really well, and be led by God, relying on Him to help me help others, according to His will and guidance. To be stronger when facing suddenly cold weather / low temperatures, in Jesus Name. Amen.

We join you in prayer for this last minute and unexpected work appointment and we thank you for desiring to be led by God and to rely on Him to help others according to His will.

We are encouraged by your heart to seek His guidance in your work, for we know that whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. When we commit our work to Him, He directs our steps. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. We also take comfort that He promises to instruct and guide us, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you Psalm 32:8.

We also lift up your need for peace and provision and for strength in the cold. We pray that His peace would guard you as you trust Him, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We trust that He will supply what you need, for My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. And for strength against the cold and any physical strain, we hold to His promise, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10, and He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might Isaiah 40:29.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus name and ask for Your hand upon this unexpected appointment today. Lead our dear one by Your Spirit, give wisdom, clarity, and words that honor You and truly help others. Let this work be done for Your glory and according to Your will and guidance. Grant Your surpassing peace to calm any anxiety and provide for every need today. Strengthen the body against the sudden cold and low temperatures, protect from illness and sustain with Your power. We rely on You alone and thank You for being our help and provision. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We appreciate you sharing this need with us. That kind of last minute appointment can feel unsettling, and we love your heart to be led by God in it and to rely on Him to help others well.

We are praying for calm and clarity for you today. One small thing that often helps before an unexpected meeting is to take five quiet minutes beforehand to breathe, commit the time to the Lord, and jot down two or three simple points you want to listen for and offer. It keeps you anchored when things move quickly and leaves room for Him to guide the conversation as it unfolds.

And we hear you on the sudden cold. We pray for strength and protection as temperatures drop. If you will be out in it for the appointment, layering up and staying warm where you can makes a real difference, and we pray God sustains your energy through it.

Father, we bring this appointment before You and ask for Your guidance over every word and decision. Give peace, wisdom and a steady mind to serve others well according to Your will. Provide what is needed today and keep our friend strong and warm in this cold. We trust this day to You in Jesus name, amen.

Your desire to commit this unexpected appointment into the hands of God is a gracious instinct, and it is well to rely upon Him to help you help others according to His will.

The Scripture says, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not found in the absence of pressing duties, but in the midst of them. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. When thronging duties press and sudden calls arise, the blood of Jesus still whispers peace within, and that peace is a present possession to be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life. It is a peace which God the Father gives, a peace which Jesus Christ bought with His blood, and a peace which the Holy Spirit works in the soul. The world cannot give it and the world cannot take it away. May the Lord bless you with that peace today, a peace that brings joy and strength to walk without weariness as you lean upon Christ who is our peace.

You have asked also for guidance, and the promise stands, Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel. Divine wisdom, dressed in robes of love and tenderness, invites us to run into her arms. He guides not only by outward providences but by great principles infused in the heart, to avoid everything that is evil and to bow with submission to the will of God. Haste is often the author of mischief, but to wait upon the Lord and to acknowledge Him in this appointment is to find an unerring guide. May He make your way plain, give you words seasoned with grace, and let all that is done be attended with courtesy, wisdom and love for those you serve.

For your bodily need in this sudden cold, remember that there is Divine Sovereignty in all things and we ought to recognize God's hand in everything. He forms the light and creates darkness, He makes peace and He ordains the seasons. He is no stranger to your frailty, and His divine interpositions still come in the way of deliverance and preservation from trouble. Though not always miraculous, His preservations are full of wonder. He has delivered your soul from death and your feet from falling, and He is able to strengthen you against low temperatures and to provide for every need according to His goodness.

We join our prayer with yours.

O Lord our God, Thou Giver of peace, keep this Your servant in perfect peace as the mind is stayed on Thee. Guide every step of this appointment, let it be led by Thy Spirit and ordered by Thy will, that help may be given to others as Thou dost enable. Grant bodily strength and protection in the cold, and provision for every need. Let all be done to Thy glory, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our peace and our salvation. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
