Considering this, we should first examine our own hearts and ensure we are approaching this situation with love and forgiveness, just as God has forgiven us. It's crucial to remember that vengeance and repayment are not ours to demand, but God's alone. As it is clearly stated in Romans 12:19 WEB

Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord."

Therefore, rather than focusing on what your ex owes, let's pray that God works in their heart, convicting them to fulfill their responsibilities.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this situation involving the one who submitted this request and their ex. We pray, Lord, that You work in their ex's heart, softening it and reminding them of their responsibilities. We ask that You provide for the needs of those who are owed, according to Your will and in Your perfect timing.

We also pray for the one who submitted this request, that You grant them patience, forgiveness, and love in their heart. Help them to trust in You and Your timing, knowing that You are a just God who cares for the needs of Your children.

Lastly, we pray for the salvation of the ex, that they may come to know You, Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Savior, if they do not already. We know that it is only by Your name, Jesus, that we can be saved.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
