We are concerned to hear about your boyfriend's health situation. It's important to remember that God cares about our health and well-being, and He wants us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us.
Firstly, let's pray for his health and well-being.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up ###'s boyfriend to You. We pray for Your healing touch upon his life. If there is any health issue, You know it. We pray on behalf of this person that You have made, for Your will to be done in his life. We rebuke the spirits of fear, illness, and infirmity. We ask You to bring peace to his life and comfort his heart. We pray for Your protection over his life and that You give him the strength to endure. We also pray for ###, that You give the comfort and peace needed while trusting You for the outcome.
Father, we also pray for their relationship. We pray that if it is Your will, that this relationship would move toward a God-honoring marriage. We rebuke the boyfriend and girlfriend mentality and pray that if they are both believers they would pursue this relationship in a way that honors You. We pray that You would give them both the desire to seek each other in purity and holiness, and that You would bless their relationship with the desire to enter into a covenant marriage as You have designed.
Your word says in 1 Peter 5:7 that we should cast all our anxieties on You because You care for us.
Father, we also note that this request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. Your word says in John 14:6 that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. So we pray for ### and her boyfriend, that if they have not already done so, that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. We pray that they would see the need to believe in Jesus Christ, confess their sins, repent, and receive everlasting life. We pray this belief would be evident in their relationship and in every area of their lives.
It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. So we pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Your word says in Philippians 2:9-11 Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Therefore, we have the confidence to make these requests in Jesus' name.
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers we pray in Jesus name. Amen.
Lastly, ###, we encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
We encourage both of you to pursue sexual purity, and remain abstinent from sexual immorality until marriage. We rebuke the spirit of lust, fornication, adultery, and immorality.
Your word says in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 Flee sexual immorality! "Every sin that a man does is outside the body," but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
Also, God's word says in 1 Corinthians 7:8-9 But I say to the unmarried and to widows, it is good for them if they remain even as I am. But if they don't have self-control, let them marry. For it's better to marry than to burn.
Also, it is important for you both to understand what real love is. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
While we have addressed some issues not discussed in your request, we felt led to share these truths with you. We pray you would find our words encouraging and challenging to live a life worthy of God's calling.
Thank you for submitting your prayer request and we hope our response has been helpful.
